I visited this view point by car as my one day Grand Canyon trip in beginning of November. Some of the best GC views

This is the last panoramic spot that I passed by during my visit to Grand Canyon, it can be easily reached from the Mather Point by following the beautiful panoramic Rim Trail. There's also a Geology Museum nearby but I didn't visit it. I sat around here enjoying the sunset and it was a truly unforgettable moment!

Yavapai point provides spectacular views of the Grand Canyon and a fitting place for the geology museum. Sheer walls look deep into the canyon. Easy paved trails link to other nearby locations. Definitely worth a stop by itself or on the way somewhere else. Easy to find a parking lot or free shuttle bus. Great part of any exploration of the south rim.

First time visiting the Grand Canyon. It was spectacular as expected. Lots of great vantage points along the south rim. From here we could see one of the hiking trails that goes down to the Colorado River.

This panorama-friendly spot is just a few feet from the geology museum. From here, you can see a couple of portions of the Colorado River including the Kaibab Trail Suspension Bridge.
