Cute store & Great Lake! If you visit do everyone a favor… STOP leaving YOUR trash! You’re destroying this beautiful lake. People from the valley flood this area in the summer months. Be respectful of the land and people and pick up after yourself. Pack it in, pack it out. You don’t see convenient trash cans all over? There’s a reason… bears! Yes, there ARE bears here. I’ve seen them with my own eyes. The trash that people overflow attracts them and puts YOU in danger. Put your trash back in your car and dump when you get home. Also there are NOT enough rangers to be on trash duty all day long. Seriously, no one else should need to clean up after you. We need to start allowing video evidence of the guilty to serve people with the $1,000 fines for leaving and dumping their trash. Pretty sure once the word got out you will be fined you may actually stop and think for two seconds. This goes for all the dispersed campers as well! Take your dirty diapers and trash with you.

This is a fantastic area to explore. Do not keep messing this beautiful area up or eventually they will take it away.

This store has it all!! It's like a tiny country version of a Walmart. It's got that country twag with reasonable prices and friendly faces. The beer is colder than a winters evening on the lake, and any hee hawing rock snagging fisherman can come in here and replenish the lures lost while attempting to catch the mysterious TIGER TROUT!! They even have a marina with rentals. Watch out for the 2 hardworking teenagers, White boy Billy long hair with a voice deeper than the lakes bottom and Cheyenne Pepper, the native kid with a Hollywood smile. The 2 of them are friendlier than 2 puppies with 4 tails. Come check this place out!

Perfection! Get there early with the fishermen if you want to feel like you own the lake. Hike or boat and there are plenty of places for peace and quiet. Families start arriving about 11 and it starts to get busy. Store and rentals are convenient, very friendly personnel.

Tons to do here at this lake. Store was closed. You can rent electric boats, kayaks, canoes, paddle boards. You can bring your own. Camping, hiking and fishing.

Family Favorite place to Camp for over 30 years!
Weather was Chilly for a Late September visit so bring a jacket or sweatshirt!

The store and marina at the lake are great! Plenty of novelties and necessities to purchase in addition to fishing gear and boat rentals. They have rowboats, trolling boats, and pontoons. There are pathways near and around the store that lead to the lake for a nice walk. The upper parking lot is under construction but still navigable, and there are pit potties available if needed. The staff at both the store and marina are also great! Be sure to tip your helper at the marina if you can. Definitely a great place to visit!

Rented a boat from there and got some fishing gear. Solid little store with most things you would need to buy in a bind if camping.
