Phyllis Hogan is the founder of this landmark shop in downtown Flagstaff. It dates back to the 70's and has a long, wonderful history of being the off-beat place to make the Navajo, Havasupai, or Hopi Connection.

Herbs, spices, seeds, musical instruments, and Native American artwork adorn the store. It is the single best source in Flag for all of these. Phyllis' daughters live in New Mexico and continue their mother's healing business by owning and operating The Super Salve Company, purveyors of fine healing salves and herbal remedies. Phyllis was also best friends with dear friend of mine, a French woman, Michelle Glass, who lived in Centerville and called Phyllis "sister". They were close pals and because of their friendship I was introduced to this healing place.

Winter Sun is exactly that, a healing place. I recently stopped by in early Sept.2024 and it is still an oasis for people interested in healing and the spiritual path. Your visit will bring new connections as well should you seek to know the best that Flagstaff has to offer in the way of conscious business places.

Great place to shop for jewelry. Staff are friendly and passionate about the art and artists who made them. My wife and I bought multiple unique jewelry items at reasonable prices.

I absolutely love this shop especially for herbs. Then i tried one of the skin care lines and it’s excellent. The staff is very helpful too. A friend of mine named Jesse told me to check this place out and she was right. Reliable and better quality products.

Hypocrisy! You can't get your own herbs for sanitary reasons; but, the pretentious staff will get your herbs for you while holding an infant in perfect position to breathe it's germs all over the herbs they serve you. Think twice about visiting this pretentious and unsanitary place. Ridiculous!

I've known the owner since highschool. Quality Crafted herbal medicines and beauty products. The Art and Jewelry selection is Top-Notch. I ordered a pair of earrings for my Mother and she had them in three days. She loves them!

The first time I went in the store was about nine years ago. I was visiting the Grand Canyon and spent the night in Flagstaff. When I walked in the door I could feel the energy positive and strong. I like the fact that their essential oil‘s are food grade some locally sourced. I have since purchased from them every year over the phone and have had the best experience.
