We had a lovely stay at the Windward. Our room was comfortable, great bed, loved the location. Enjoyed chatting on the encosed porch. Super staff. Nice touches like the coffee/tea station, the outside seating areas and the beach gear and outside showers. We didn't need the A/C but turned them on briefly and both were prett loud. That's our only negative.

We booked two rooms at the Windward for our family of four and were very comfortable. The staff was very attentive and took great care of us. There were lots of details that helped make everything easier, like a clothesline for hanging towels, beach equipment and toys we could borrow. We easily fed our two young children all their meals with the microwave and refrigerator set-up plus dining table and appreciated the outdoor furniture and table for drinks nearby our sleeping kiddos. The location is central to everything and there are lots of things happening at the Veterans Park directly across the street.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Windward this past weekend!! We can not say enough good things about David and Michelle, our hosts at the Windward, and the relaxing environment they create at the resort. The wrap-around enclosed porch, the crayons and coloring paper available and the incredible library of children's books for our kids, the beach chairs and boogie boards, the coffee bar and impeccably clean outdoor seating areas -- like I said, I really just can't say enough!! David and Michelle were both so kind, and we appreciated although the front desk closes at a certain time, they were always available by text. The proximity to the beach/grocery store/main drag with restaurants and coffee shops is so nice, and we never had a problem finding a parking spot on the block. We stayed in Room 9, the larger two bedroom suite available and our room was impeccably clean and comfortable for us and our two kids. If we return to Beach Haven again some day, we will absolutely stay at the Windward again!!! Thank you David! Thank you Michelle!!

We had a lovely quick stopover at Windward in the historic section of Beach Haven. We love LBI & Beach Haven and you cannot beat the location of Windward. It was so nice to hop right to the beach, walk through the Park for the crafts, stroll to restaurants and shops so easily. We slept so soundly and relaxed A LOT. The staff and owner are 100% dedicated to ensuring a positive stay for everyone. It shows in the way the property is managed and maintained including the lovely outdoor areas with tables and chairs, umbrellas and lovely plantings. This is a super place to stay whether you’re a family or friends group. The extras such as Tommy Bahamas beach chairs (the best), umbrellas, beach badges was also great.

We had an awesome time!!! You all were so friendly, accommodating and patient with our large group of boys! Any time we needed something it was delivered immediately! We love the beautiful porch. The convenience of the grill on the patio was amazing! Being right across the beach was perfect! Can’t wait to come back!

We are about to set off on our second stay this summer at Windward at the beach. I can’t say enough about the location, the charm and the convenience of this boutique hotel. Warm and friendly ownership, attention to detail and steps from the beach. All amenities are welcome, it is somewhere a cross between a house/apartment and hotel. Highly, highly recommended to all.

Great location! Room was very nice. AC worked great. Outdoor shower was a great end of beach day bonus. Close walking distance to town - market, shopping etc. ||Parking was available. Walk to beach was short. Beach chairs provided. ||Could have used beach umbrellas. Only thing missing.

1 minute walk to beach, very clean and great decorated room, fully equipped kitchen. They have beach chairs, boogie boards, a wet bar with ice machine, coffee and tea.
Theme park is walkable.
