Our kids were obsessed with George & Vanessa as much as their incredible artisan handcraft and nature-sourced items for sale — we spent ages in store and walked away with some one of a kind pieces whose stories rival even the superb quality, let alone the memories of the people and time spent now attached to these items. We had an incredible visit to Skagway, but our time at this establishment and its owners created our brightest memory. We will return!

The sophisticated ambience pulled me in, and the conversation and beautiful products kept me engaged. We actually visited twice in one day while on a one day cruise port visit. George and Vanessa are a treasure, and their hand made products are exquisite and so unique. A pair of lynx earrings are the ONLY product I purchased for myself on a 7 day cruise. Something so unique is what makes memories.

George was so welcoming and friendly! He helped us pick out a pair of wolverine fur earrings for my wife's birthday, and she loved them. Very cool vibe in the store with roots in the area and one-of-a-kind items. Definitely worth checking out!

Great little shop to browse local handcrafted gifts. I loved chatting with the owner, she was personable and welcoming to me and my friends. The fur earrings are just beautiful, and don’t miss the selection of wool hats. I bought a box of handmade fishing flies for Father’s Day. The owner’s husband makes them, and they’re one of a kind. Definitely worth visiting while in Skagway.

Beautiful array of items handmade by the shop owner’s wife. The owner talked to us about how she made the different items and the meanings behind the different types of stones and such. Wonderful time spent and money well spent on earrings!

Purchased the most incredible earrings I have ever seen as a gift for my daughter. If you want something to bring home from your Alaska vacation that is truly unique to Alaska this is a must see. The store is filled with incredible hand made in Alaska items that the owner will be able to tell you about the origin of. The owner is First Nations with a wealth of knowledge of the areas peoples and history, stopping here was the highlight of my trip

I stumbled into this store while on an alaskan cruise on a very cold and rainy day in Skagway. My interaction at Wild Yukon Furs changed my entire trip experience. The store is beautiful and Vanessa is so inviting and kind. She told me about the incredibly detailed process of making the jewelry and asked about my trip. I could have stayed and talked for hours with both her and her husband, George as they explained their heritage and how it ties to their business. I proudly wear my earrings and will treasure them and this experience forever. If you're looking to purchase a beautiful local-owned and made piece of jewelry in skagway, please stop in here, you won't regret it.
