Subject: Exceptional Customer Service at Weiss, Upper Marlboro Location

Dear Weiss Customer Service Team,

I am writing to share my recent experience at your Upper Marlboro location at 5715 Crain Hwy, and to recognize the exceptional service I received from a team member named Mike.

I visited the store to purchase Weiss Potatoes O’Brien but found the shelf empty. An employee kindly began assisting me and explained that the person responsible for that section was not currently available. As we spoke, another employee approached—Mike—and asked what I was looking for. Upon hearing my request, he immediately mentioned that a truck had just arrived and offered to check the freezer to see if the product had come in.

Without hesitation, Mike—although not responsible for that area—ventured into the freezer, prepared to brave the cold. The initial employee joined him in the search but returned shortly afterward, saying it was very cold and that he hadn’t had any luck finding the item. A few minutes later, Mike emerged from the freezer carrying a box of the requested Weiss Potatoes O’Brien and proceeded to stock the shelf himself.

I was truly impressed with Mike’s commitment to customer satisfaction. He went above and beyond his duties, displaying initiative, teamwork, and a genuine dedication to helping a customer. His actions did not go unnoticed, and I am incredibly grateful for the level of service he provided.

Great to find more Amazon lockers in easily accessible locations. The one at this Weis is outside and to the far left of the doors as you face the building. Since it’s outside, I assume you can access or drop off your packages 24/7.

Will add a photo showing location next time in the area.

Very helpful staff who went above and beyond to assist with locating my wife's lost cell phone on this Sunday evening.Mr.Carl is a true gentleman!.Ms Tammy is super sweet ! Kudos to the store manager for reviewing the store cameras and identifying where the phone was last spotted....a really Great staff all around..God Bless them all.

Highly recommend grocery store. It's never crowded

Very rude customer service on this Sunday morning. Only one cashier working. The line was down the aisle and every self checkout register that was open were being used. We had more than 20 items in our cart, however we asked the customer service rep that was overseeing the self checkout told us we could use the long belt self checkout. When we finished another customer service rep approached us and pointed out that it was only 20 items. We informed her that we asked permission to use this register and she stated, the next time we come in to not use the 20 items or less self checkout.. How Rude. One would think to just open another register instead of complaining. Just saying!

Upper management should be ashamed of how this store is run. Dirty, carts were basically unusable, only one employee working the registers and assisting self checkout; not to mention, prices are significantly higher than other grocery stores (super nice of Weis to contribute to the food deserts in our poorer areas). Funny how a company that netted almost 5 billion dollars in 2023, can’t properly take care of their stores or their employees; absolutely embarrassing; will never shop at Weis ever again

I enjoy shopping here. It's like a family grocery store and I love the holiday activities they have for the kids. There's a few familiar faces at each holiday activity. They are so enthusiastic and joyful and I really appreciate it, especially Miss Lady in Pink!
