We recently stopped by downtown Gallup at a local coffee shop, and was thrilled to see a yarn and fiber store next door... what a beautiful shop! Ha Ha... lucky me, my favorite travel souvenir is local yarn. I got several skeins of beautiful naturally dyed churro yarn. The shop owner was super helpful!
Also, i want to mention how much we enjoyed walking around downtown Gallup where this shop is located. Such a beautiful and energetic downtown!

I was in the area getting coffee and absolutely couldn’t resist trying to get some local yarn while I was in town. Their hours looked like they typically aren’t open on Sundays, but I was in luck this week because they were having a class that day. I got some beautiful Navajo churro yarn that I’m so excited to work with. The lady working there, as well as a friend of hers who helped me out, were so much fun and so helpful. I’m so glad I was able to stop in, and I will absolutely tell anybody who is stopping in Gallup about this shop too.
PS: if the lady is reading this, I took the Route 66 exit you told me about in Arizona. Thanks for the heads up, that was a super fun drive!

This place is awesome! Mary and Karen do a wonderful job and the products they carry are first class, and beautiful. The yarns are hand dyed and the colors are gorgeous. Absolutely wonderful place for any weaver/knitter. My wife and I had a wonderful time visiting with them and they went out of their way to help us. Well done!

Warm atmosphere and lots of fiber goodness. The staff are all helpful and knowledgeable about the products. The teachers are all master weavers and wonderful patient people. Best service is their ability and willingness to do special dye lots to match yarn you have already purchased.

Wonderful! Wide variety of yarns and wools for weaving, knitting and even felting. Staff and owner are friendly, warm and very helpful. They even offered to special order items for me. The owner told me to bring in my knitting project anytime to get advice or just hang out. Most of the yarns are locally sourced and thoughtfully picked out and handled. I will certainly be back.
