Sussex Meat Packing is a great place for meat, but they also have good sandwiches, pre-made meals, frozen goods, and some cultural finds, too.

We often shop at Sussex meat packing. They offer a wide selection of quality beef, chicken and sausages. Staff is always helpful and friendly.

The store itself was nice and clean. The only complaint i have, is that I asked for Taylor ham and was given plain pork roll. I'm from the south central part of the US, I have always heard if you go to Jersey, you gotta have Taylor ham. I was disappointed to learn that i had bought pork roll. It was fantastic, but. I wished i had tried the real deal.

Just found out you can order takeout food. I tried their French dip roast beef which was delicious and under $10 for a large sub-sized sandwich. Next time I go by I will sure to get pictures and post them,but don't wait for my pictures, get one yourself.

Great quality meats at reasonable prices. Even the sides are good. Tried the calzone and went back for a second. Their homemade salads are excellent. Special meat pricing every week if you're bargain shopping. Who isn't in this economy?
