The managers & employees are friendly caring people. The remodel looks amazing! The pharmacy is friendly and quick to help. The fresh food is great quality and the shelves are well stocked 85% of the time.

Starbucks has friendly people. ( I don't drink there often.)

I love this safeway. I Just go for specific deals. This week corn on the cob was 3 cents for up to 6 ears so I got 6. Also, I find good deals in the clearance section. The workers are nice at this store and it's always clean and òrganized.

Overall, good customer service. I think the staff should be fully trained in all aspects of their position and not ask customers how to do their job.

Be careful parking next to the glass pipe smoke shop. The druggies hide behind the pillars waiting for the smoke shop to open and they will check out your vehicle and run when you come out. Sketchy as hell.

Nice plaza in Gilbert. I love how they have the yoga exercise spot here, a cute and colorful ice cream store, and the UPS, and the Safeway grocery market. Admittedly the Safeway here does seem a bit more compact than other ones I've seen, but it's nice how everything you could need is all so close together- very cozy feel.
Even when I came here on the weekend late afternoon, it didn't seem too busy or packed so that is nice.

Go to Taste of China here. Very friendly and most excellent food. I have not made it through the entire menu yet because everything is so good that I keep having favorites. Definitely recommend for simple dine in experience or they seem to have a large take out following.

Safeway is substantially more expensive than any other grocery store within a 2-mile radius. Is it sometimes more convenient and we have to bite the bullet which is sad. I prefer to go to my local grocery store but I'm not going to get price gouged

Tried to do a pickup order online. One full hour trying to get the computer to take my money and check out, another half hour on the phone with tech folks to help who couldn't fix it. I was told to wait two hours so better techs could fix it, waited 2.5 hours, restarted my computer: no change. Tried a second computer and my phone. No change. Safeway didn't want my business so I am going to pickup at Fry's. A huge waste of my time. Don't know if I will ever try again.
