Beautiful animal conservatory with a Majority of animals you want to see in alaska. The surrounding views are breathtaking. 20$ to enter for adults. They also have a gift shop and food stand with multiple bathrooms on site. You can drive or walk the 1.5 mile loop.

Can't get enough of the beautiful view while we travel to Girdwood. We've been blessed with good weather, and we can clearly see the mountain ranges and the shores. The tour guide narration is as interesting as the view and gives me lasting information to remember along with the most recent event that had happened in the area. It was scenic and historic!

The board walk is a bit too short but offers a restful bench at the and where you can sit and take in the fresh weather while watching the spectacular mountains surrounding the area.

There is a wave that comes through once per day. There were even people with boards to ride it. Absolutely not what I expected in Alaska. Very cool to see. Great view of mountains and waterfalls everywhere. You can look up the time of the wave. The one we saw was about 20 minutes late.

This is a breathtakingly beautiful part of Alaska. Even when the clouds are hovering at 5000 feet, the mountains, or at least the visible parts, are awesome. I've been around tall mountains in Switzerland, Canada, and Peru, but these are the best by far. My visit was in late September when the mosquitos were dead, and most tourists were gone, which greatly added to the enjoyable experience. The tide in the sound is amazing to watch as well. Lots to see a and do when you consider the hiking trails in addition to the previously mentioned activities. I strongly recommend a visit.
