**Warning About TruConnect Solicitation at Julia Palms Senior Apartments**

I want to raise an urgent concern regarding TruConnect’s unethical practices. Today, a young man knocked on my mother’s senior apartment door, seemingly delivering medication. He said, *“Oh, I got this for you, I was told to bring it to you.”* Naturally, I believed it was hospice medicine delivery.

However, when I asked where he was from, he admitted, *“TruConnect.”* This was deeply upsetting—he blatantly misled us, attempting to gain entry by deception. This type of behavior is **misleading, unsafe, and a violation of our community’s strict **NO SOLICITING** policy**.

I immediately shut the door, outraged at the attempt to take advantage of vulnerable seniors. How dare he assume the residents here wouldn’t recognize his deceit? I will be reporting this to TruConnect’s main office and notifying our security guard to ensure this does not happen again.

For reference, the individual was a young man in his early 20s, with light brown curly hair and a slim build. **Residents—do not open your doors to strangers.**

If anyone else has experienced this, I strongly encourage you to report it. Let’s protect our senior community from deceptive solicitation.

Scam ass company Safelink is a way better phone with better service, there also no reason I should be on hold for 45 min before customer service picks up the phone just to tell me they can’t do anything because I don’t have a pin I was never asked about during application

Absolutely the worst. I was trying to get my old number ported for a month and when my old provider finally released it, TruConnect lost it. While I was on the phone, the guy I was speaking to on the other side of the damn world cancelled my existing number, leaving me without a phone. When I called back I was told that the guy must have accidentally cancelled my number and I would get a new SIM card in the mail in 7-10 days. So, verifiably, TruConnect lost the number I was trying to port and left me without service. They truly are the absolute worst.

She said I could upgrade my phone for a newer cloud mobile I said ok so she shut off my phone because I had a working account said it would take a little longer but she had an appointment that she'd come back to the library in an hour never showed SO NOW I HAVE NO PHONE

They come to my door every day twice a day. We don’t qualify and even if we did I sure as heck wouldn’t trust the type of people they send to your door. Stop harassing my family, even if Verizon started charging us a million dollars a month I’d find a way to pay it and never ever consider this company just because of how pushy their door-to-door guys are!!!

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!! DO NOT TRUST!! I did not need a phone!! They told me every medical user must take it. I said do I need to pay for anything. She told me no. She then proceeds to say I can help you out more by giving you Amazon prime for free for a year if you pay $12 today. NEVER got an email. Called to confirm and they told me this benefit was no longer available and they could not refund my money and that instead of Amazon, I actually paid for a phone plan!!!!
