Today I attended your estate sale that turned out to be an absolute nightmare. Despite the scorching 100-degree heat, my family and I were forced to wait outside for over an hour before we were allowed in. The lack of organization and disregard for the comfort and safety of attendees was shocking. It felt like the organizers had no concern for the fact that people were sweltering in the sun with no shade or water provided.

I went to the sale specifically to buy a dream item I had my heart set on, but the experience was so terrible that I left empty-handed. When we were finally allowed inside, the cashier grabbed my arm multiple times as we tried to enter with our family. I found this incredibly unprofessional and invasive. It made me feel uncomfortable and even hurt, both physically and emotionally.

After such a disturbing encounter, I couldn't bring myself to purchase the item I had wanted so badly. The entire experience was poorly managed, disrespectful, and ruined what should have been an exciting day. I would never recommend this estate sale to anyone. They seriously need to reconsider how they treat their customers if they expect anyone to return in the future.

This is who you need to go to for an estate sale. Whether attending or having it for your own self and or a relative that has passed.
I contacted three different companies, one of them. The communication fell apart really quick; the first one I contacted had so many fees and somewhere even kind of hidden until the real estimate came. It was way over what we planned on and not the way we expected it at all. Then came Valerie with Tristan Estate Sales……
Talk about a breath of fresh air and the way business should be done and then some.
Valerie’s communication has been efficient, clear, and caring from the get-go the three things that really mattered to me and I think to anyone! I finally felt a sigh of relief in her hands. She’s been so organized and done. Such a great job for us. I’m just so glad I found her. No hidden fees; Only straight on and clear methods and expectations. She even helped with calming a lot of my concerns over the whole situation, she’s very well experienced and educated in all facets of the estate sale whether it’s about the types of items and their value, how to advertise them, she’s made everything just everything so much better. It was really Uplifting and quite amazing really at how fast she got to work and how much she did from the get-go, to see things get assembled and put together for the estate sale and it was done so tastefully and everything looked so nice and so welcoming. Prices were really good for both the buyer and for us, the client.
If you’re not quite sure who to go to, Valerie is someone that you can trust with everything; I learned this about her easily through such humble and clear and intellectual, yet down to earth communication. My brothers and I couldn’t be happier. She brought excellent results. Thank you so much Valerie and Tristan Estate Sales. There’s no way we could’ve done this without you! My sister would’ve loved you…

When my mother recently passed away, I was left with 40 years of fine art, silver, crystal, bronzes and original oil paintings that she and my father had accumulated over the years. They had exquisite taste and bought nothing but the finest quality. Wanting to liquidate most of these items, I was very cautious in who I would select to handle this sale. I interviewed Tristin Estate Sales, and met both Valerie and Hillary multiple times at my mothers home to discuss how they would handle the estate sale. I felt confident in their ability and signed the contract. The next week they would meet at the home and begin the process of preparation for the sale. Everything was staged very professionally and set up in very attractive settings to help insure the sale would be very successful.
The sale was held last week for 3 days, and I must say, I was extremely impressed with not only the way they constantly moved items around, giving them more attention and visibility, but also in the amount of items that were sold. Pricing was very fair to not only the buyer, but to my interest as well in getting the most for these memorable items from my parents.
I cannot say enough good things about this company and these two ladies. The sale was a complete success in all respects, due to their hard work and professionalism. I could not be happier with the end result, and would recommend their service to anyone wanting a professional company to liquidate art, furniture, clothing, collectables, jewelry, kitchenware, appliances etc.

The estate sale I hired Valerie for was for my mother's home in Acton. My mom was an avid collector of antiques, western and horse lover decor, Disney memorabilia...i.e. lot's of items that would be worth some money if I simply had the time and help to sort through it all, price it right and get the word out to bring people all the way out to her house. That was what led me to seek professional help. I had no real knowledge about how to go about an estate sale. I considered doing it myself, but had no idea how I could advertise and get people to come out to my mom's off the beaten path house. I interviewed 3 different companies before I chose Valerie. By comparison she and Tracy stood out as the most transparent and communicative about how they price items, their knowledge of worth and honesty about what items would sell to their clientele. I researched many of the items myself and I found that they priced things fairly based on their own research. Also, they both seemed truly compassionate about my situation in having to do this sale to generate funds to aid my mom who had to be recently moved into assisted living. They were also the most comfortable and undaunted by my mom's location being up a 2 mile dirt road and being a very very full house. The sale was very successful and they brought A LOT of people to the house. The neighbors complained a little because of all the 'traffic' and people parking along the road.

Every time they were going to the house, they told me, even though they had keys. They set aside items and photos that were personal to my family when they found them. I came to the house several times while they were there working to collect things in a couple of the rooms that I set as off limits at first because I hadn't fully gone through myself and they made it as comfortable as it could be. I saw the house transform into a fully staged 'vintage shop'. In some ways, it helped me separate myself from the space and helped me through the grieving process of loosing my family home and prepare to eventually sell.

If I had to do it over again, I would choose them and do it the same way. Actually, perhaps I would've hired them sooner, as I did try to parse through much of my mom's very packed house myself beforehand. I would definitely recommend them to friends or family.
