Opened in 2005 by Antonio Dumas, To the Moon stocks thousands of candy's from 80 countries so any sweet tooth can be satisfied. Dumas decided on the stores name as a tribute to Jackie Gleason's famous line in the TV show the Honeymooners. Like the Kramdens, Dumas is from Brooklyn and his parents are named Ralph and Alice.

Come to the dark side with an entire wall of black licorice. Or maybe chocolate is your vice. Gummies, gum, mints, marzipan, lollipops, taffy, hard candy, they have you covered. Candy you ate as a kid, yes, candy your parents ate as a kid, yes again. Bulk candy dates back to brands from 1806! It is probably safe to say that if you can think it up, they carry it.

In addition to a wonderland of candy they also sell gag gifts, greeting cards, classic toys, tin lunchboxes, political humor items, collectibles, novelties, ice cream, and some of the most interesting Christmas ornaments I have ever seen. They carry over 13,000 different items. This is a great place to find a funny, unique, or sweet gift.

The store is also super cramped. It's like shopping in a walk-in closet. After a short time I started feeling claustrophobic. If I had a specific candy in mind or gift I needed I could definitely find it here. I do plan to come back and do some shopping for holiday gifts.

I recently brought my little brother here for his birthday, and it turned out to be an absolutely extraordinary experience! The sheer variety of candies on offer left us both in awe, but what truly set this place apart was the owner’s exceptional knowledge and enthusiasm. He explained the store layout to us and shared lots of insight about the different sweets, their origins, and fun facts.
But it wasn’t just the sweets that captured our attention; the store had a treasure trove of surprises. From organic, handmade candles to luxurious hand lotions and quirky bar soaps with hilariously creative names, there was something unique around every corner. We were also pleasantly surprised by the extensive collection of humorous cards, gifts, and other charming items.
This establishment transcends the typical candy store experience. It’s a haven of wonder and delight, made even more exceptional by the owner’s personalized and informative approach. To top it all off, he generously gifted my little brother some treats for his birthday, leaving us with heartwarming memories. 🥰 12/10 would recommend and we will most definitely be returning!

Amazing little store. Always stop in and buy something when visiting Wilton manors. The store owner is such a sweet man. I bought a candy shark toy there a few years ago that I came back looking for again and he didn’t have them in stock. He called around and had them in the next day for me. I recommend everyone to go in there and support this amazing small business!

First time customer on Friday October 4, 2024. Loved the experience and purchased white chocolate coconut balls, almond bark, candy cigarettes and French burnt peanuts. Live in Miami and visit Wilton manor once a month. This will be on my pick up list for monthly candy fixes. The older gentleman was great and you can see he loves his job.

Three of us stopped by and fell in love with this little shop. Super friendly. It is packed to the gills. The owner is super knowledge about what types of candy where popular in different parts of the states and internationally in different eras. The back left corner of the store houses all the naughty LBGTQ must-haves. We picked up a couple of funny gifts for friends. I started talking to Adam who was hilarious and sweet. He shared his favorite roasted chicken recipe with me and I couldn't wait to make it. Thank you, Adam!! (I paired it with fennel salad, lemon rice, and roasted zucchini. Followed by a white chocolate lemon brownie) Seriously, the best chicken I’ve ever made. Thank you so much for taking the time and sharing.

There is no greater knowledge about candy in South Florida than the guy who runs this place. I have been coming here for years and regularly drive 40 minutes because I can only get some of my favorites from this store. He brings in some great regional candies including sponge candy from buffalo and buckeyes from Ohio. If you have not been you are doing yourself a huge dis-service. In addition to candy the store has tons of funny gifts and toys that will bring a smile to any adult face.. Do not waste another day depriving yourself of an awesome place to get sweets.

Cool place and very full of all kinds of candy’s, toys, and many miscellaneous. However I was $5.99 for a box of Mike and iks. Make it make sense. Watch what you get charged.

I am writing to express my thoughts regarding the negative feedback some customers have shared about Antonio (Ralph), the owner of "To the Moon." Having known him since we first visited Wilton Manors in 2009, I can attest to his deep commitment to his business. For nearly 20 years, Antonio has dedicated countless hours—often 10-12 a day—to serve his customers, a level of dedication that is increasingly rare.

Antonio’s warm demeanor and willingness to accommodate customer requests set him apart. Yet, unfortunately, some individuals overlook the tremendous effort he puts into creating a welcoming environment. It is disheartening to see negativity, rooted in misunderstanding, aimed at someone who sacrifices so much for his passion. Despite facing personal health challenges, Antonio continues to show up and work tirelessly.

I encourage those who take to social media to criticize, to consider the value of empathy. Walking in another's shoes can bring a profound understanding of their struggles. Dedicated individuals like Antonio deserve recognition, not criticism.

Thank you for taking the time to consider this perspective.
