I liked the place a lot. I knew the owners cause I lived right down the road, this was my favorite spot to get snacks and drinks at. The staff were nice, the snacks were great. It was overall a great place when I lived in Alaska. If the owners are reading this. Hi, I'm Thomas if you remember me.

This is for A.W. from Anchorage. Thank you for your thoughtful review. Please let me clarify a few things for our other customers. We had to shut the bathroom down due to drug use and vandalism, initials were carved into our property, it has never been spray painted. Please be accurate in your trash talk. Employee and customer safety comes first. Currently, our bathroom is available for small children and elders. Thank you for bringing to my attention that there was an outdated Gatorade I will bring that to the attention of our Pepsi rep and make sure there is no more, it sells fast enough that we usually don't have that problem. Of course, if you would have just told the cashier it would have been replaced and your money for it returned. Thank you for being the 1% and not understanding that the safety of staff and children comes first and trashing our livelihood online. We work hard to bring products into the store for everyone's convenience and try to keep a clean store, pleasant atmosphere, and decent pricing. Once again please come in and talk to Heidi about your experience it works so much better than faceless online trash talk.

Avoid!! Paying customers are not allowed to use the bathroom! To top it off one of the Gatorades we bought was expired. We regularly travel between Anchorage and Anchor Point but will never be stopping here again, The Mercantile is just a few miles south and has bathrooms and a better selection of snacks/beverages.

The cashier told us no one can use the bathroom because one time their bathroom was graffitied with spray paint. I'm sorry that happened to them but why bother stopping here when their competitor has both snacks and restrooms.

Its nothing special, but it has character and they have coffee, snacks, and a bathroom. The bathroom didn't have a lock on it so someone had to watch the door. It had everything we needed when we stopped to stretch our legs. There is a liquor store in the back too.

Friendly people, the prices are usually what you'd expect at a gas station but sometimes I've found some surprising deals!

When her chickens are laying there's fresh eggs available for purchase and if you're looking for rasor clams they offer the best price per pound I've found on the peninsula! The gas is at competitive prices and there's a liquor store around back.
