Thruway has become a nice shopping center with a fantastic cooking store for those higher end gadgets and gizmos for fans of The Great British Baking Show and others of that ilk. Trader Joe's, the Good Feet Store, Hallmark, and right now, Dewey's Bakery are some of the options. The Carving Board is a great place to eat.

One of those places that I've been going to my whole life. It's been interesting watching the changes over the years. It truly has evolved and changed with the times. A perfect mix of shopping and food establishments. You can park and stay the whole afternoon if you want without even going back to the car. A great place for everyone.

Great shopping center near downtown Winston Salem. I love the variety of shops like Kilwins, Trader Joes, Outdoor Provision, Chick-fil-A, Moe's, Dewey's, and more. This shopping area is well lit and safe at all times of day and they also have ♿ handicap accessible ramps, parking spots, and restrooms throughout.

From the 1950's but has been kept up todate. Very good shopping center with nice mix of stores. Stripmall style if shopping center. Has plenty of parking.

Parking there is a NIGHTMARE, I don't know if it was just because of the pre Christmas rush but there was NO PARKING ANYWHERE 😕, lovely individuals were double parking all over the place so me trying to find a parking place took longer than it did for me to actually go in the store I was there to visit(Outdoor Provision Company) and complete my mission and leave. Which was completely insane, they clearly need more parking spots!!!! My whole experience was a little irritating but at least nobody hit my vehicle and voluntarily "forgot" to leave their insurance information due to any damage that was incurred.

I visited Dewey's in the Thruway Shopping Center, it's a must. Those Moravian Cookies, the Chess Pie, Pink Lemonade cake square and the Moravian Sugar Cake are amazing and pretty much what I purchase. I wish you could get the mini pies shipped but alas you have to go into the store for that. This place has so much to offer besides sweet treats, they have everything NC. Definitely worth a stop, you will not be disappointed.
