Have only visited on four occasions since the name change. Great that there's a petting zoo now...we love it! Like that the original anchor stores--Dillard's and Starr Western Wear (since so many other retailers left) are still great 😸 Very disappointing to see the bathrooms by the former movie theater in such a filthy state. Hopefully whoever is in charge of rebranding and making Sunland better now that it's Solana pays attention to that! More folks will wanna visit and maybe set up nice new food places and shops 🙂

The Shoppes at Solana, formerly Sunland Park Mall, is becoming a nice place to spend your weekend or afternoon. It’s not fully equipped yet, but some new stores and improvements make it worth a visit. The revitalization is bringing fresh life to the area, and I’m excited to see what’s next!

The service here is awful, the security guard are lazy and so is management. There was this one security guard girl and she kept going in and out of stores with three different guys and looking around and flirting with them then I confronted her management and said to not worry about it that it was normal. Is it normal?

Though we love that they are trying to make an effort to change up the place and stuff they should update broken down equipment. I did see some broken tiles. We went on a Thursday at noon and we were surprised to see that shops were barely opening up and the food court was barely opened. We wanted to try the Korean dogs but they were closed. Also by the food court the children's carousel doesn't work. We put in the dollar and it doesn't spin and it sounded horrible. I don't know why it's still there. The elevator always stinks and takes forever to come up or down.

I used to visit this mall as a kid in the 90s, and decided to get a nostalgia fix having moved back here as an adult.

The mall does seem a bit desolate and yet still more lively then I expected. The Food Court had an array of options and I ate a BBQ sandwich and got an ice cream cone.

The movie theater is currently a haunted house for Halloween, which seems like a neat idea, but I feel like this mall needs a theater in order to thrive.

The increase in service-related businesses does seem like a good way to bring in more stability, but I can't help but feel like some of the old dogs here need some new innovation.

Still a lovely spot to spend a couple chill hours feeling nostalgic, even if the Sunland Park Mall of today no longer has an arcade, sports cards store, movie theater, or Chick-fil-A.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for this place, and all malls across the nation.

Sunland Park Mall, connected to Starr Western Wear, and then to Dillard's, a nice place for your weekend afternoon.

Though it's not fully equipped yet, but can tell that they're working on some new stuffs, looking forward to the day it's going back to the glamorous days.

Enjoying some food and all i see is this. lol a bunch of lazy security Standing there for a full 45 mins! Editing this on Monday 2/3/25 security was slow to react to a gun threat in Starr western today still security is sitting down talking and chilling with both of the guys Luis and the old man with the girl security chilling. The guy security with glasses bring is girlfriend and just walks with her around the mall. If something was to happen we are all in trouble
