If you are thinking of new window treatments for your home, look no further than The Shade Store. We were thoroughly impressed and completely satisfied from the day we walked into the Summit store and met with Conshella Cole-Ford for our initial meeting to the day we had our beautiful shades installed by Jose and Thomas. They were all terrific!

The process ran smoothly. Connie made a home visit, which was very helpful. Her knowledge and expertise helped us to finalize the perfect choices for our home.

We are enjoying our new shades and already are thinking about our next project with Connie and The Shade Store.

Will not shop here again. Shade was made to the wrong size, the installer installed it anyway which put incorrect holes in my freshly painted walls (which they will not fix). They had to make a new one and ship it, and then I had to wait several weeks again for the installation. The installer then left the old incorrect shade behind because it "wouldn't fit in his truck", and it is too large for me to dispose of without paying a fee.
Trying to get them to come remove the garbage is a nightmare. I have been dealing with this for 6 months at this point for only one window shade.

BUYER BEWARE!!! The sales associate that helped design our window treatments and the installer were second to none! Fantastic people! The rest of the company however, falls well below the disgruntled employee levels! We paid @$14,000 for blinds and curtains. The installer arrived to put in the blinds, 5 of the 12 were made too short for the window they were supposed to go in and the brackets for the patio door were wrong! 5 weeks later and trying to get answers to when they will replace the five blinds, or schedule the installation of the curtains AND or the blinds on the patio door is futile! They DO NOT RESPOND! Pay in full and then they couldn’t care less about customer satisfaction, proper installation or job completion! Every deadline they’ve given us to contact us, they’ve MISSED!!! You’d think paying a PREMIUM PRICE would get you a premium company…, Not so with THE SHADE STORE!

I recently purchased black out shades from The Shade Store, and the result was not what was promised to me by my consultant. She was dishonest in explaining how much light the black out shades would block out, when there are other alternatives at the Shade Store that would better fit my needs, and is now unresponsive via email. This deceptive service and product is unacceptable for shades that cost $2000. For anyone considering to purchase these shades, looking to invest in high quality product and service, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere.

I’ve been meaning to write a review and finally got to it. I purchased motorized Roman shades for my living room and some wood blinds for a bedroom and bathroom. The whole process was so easy, starting by just showing up at the store and feeling very welcome without feeling that the associates were trying to get me to buy immediately. It was super easy to work with them and I am specially happy with Connie at the Summit store. She guided me throughout the whole process (from setting appointments to measure to purchasing products and finally scheduling installment). My shades were installed earlier in the year and I had an issue in November with one of the motors. Connie helped me right away! And the issue was taken care off within a week. I can not say enough good things about the costumer service! And I am loving all my new window treatments

She got back to me immediately and never left me waiting for anything. She promised to drop off samples and they were there very quickly as promised.
