If you haven't been to the river, you need to. Great place, great food. They have an arcade and a movie theater, lots of things for the whole family to do here !

First time here at the The River. And we just happened to walk into the brand new Dave & Busters, was told they had just opened up in Sept. The service was great, and the place was clean ( I hope it stays that way). The food was delicious 😋. .

It's a great place to hang out as there is lots of outdoor seating. It's mostly restaurants here with only a few specialty stores for shopping. But that means there are lots of places to eat and a theatre for movies.
There are water features and plants and trees and flowers everywhere. Probably the best Starbucks location in town because of it.
There is no place for kids to play though unless you count the outdoor theatre seating and that gets boring fairly quickly.
Overall a nice place.

Fun 'River', Shops and Dining
The idea of a 'river' at a shopping mall attracted us. It's fun! Bridges, places to sit by the water, and decorative landscape create a perfect setting to enjoy a beverage or ice cream and listen to the soothing sound of flowing water. Plenty of dining options and some shops to share your money with.

The river was way better when there were actual places to shop. It’s nice they got a Dave n busters. But forever 21 was fun to shop at here. There’s nothing to do or visit for unless you’re visiting Cheesecake Factory or P.F. Chang’s. It’s not the same.

I have always enjoyed spending time at the river and sadly there are many fewer businesses there now but just the walk is nice spending time around the water makes for a nice walk either before or after dinner

A massive waste of water in the middle of the desert. Parking is removed from the restaurants and requires a lot of walking. In the summer you can get a heat stroke walking to the restaurants.

We had a very pleasant evening dinner on the patio at Cheesecake Factory. We wanted cheesecake for dessert, so we shared an order of chicken lettuce wrap and a plate of seafood wantons. Both were large portions, and by sharing these two appetizers, we still had room for cheesecake. Our waiter and table attendants were all extremely helpful and friendly. After dinner, we enjoyed the benches near the pond.
