This place is such a precious little gem in an area where superior prepared foods combined with a variety of food genres are sparse. We just finished building a beach house on SGI and so during the furnishing and interior design process, have been living on the Island. The nearest full size grocery store is a 25 minute drive and I ensure there is enough time allotted to also stop by here for the most delectable, yummy, satisfying extras. There are plenty of great little spots in and around Apalachicola and SGI has some great seafood and fast food options as well but, this place is hands down, one of our weekly favorites. We tried everything from muffins, to scones, to cakes and croissants, their meat lasagna and chicken pot pies, their soups and teas…they keep us scraping our plates and ultimately, pining back for more, every week. The gingerbread cake was absolutely scrumptious. I dont even really like gingerbread anything but, I can not wait for more from here. Youre always left with a hankering for what you had last time or to try something else that you literally did not have room for last time. This charming European styled cafe nestled in the back of a retail shop which envelopes an equally charming assortment of delightful goods you will also want to consume, is worth the trip from SGI Carrabelle or Alyce Beach…can not wait to get there this week to see what specials we can try out or indulge in again!!

Very good coffee shop. My husband and I were traveling through and stopped in for coffee. We got an Americano, peppermint mocha latte and a cinnamon chip scone. All were exceptional. The woman that provided service was also very nice. I would definitely recommend stopping in for coffee and a treat.
