The Grace Gallery is fantastic! I took a painting class here with a couple friends and Shannon Harris- the owner/teacher- was wonderful. She really took time to explain the process and make sure each of us was happy with our end result. The gallery also has lots of items for sale. Artwork- which is beautiful, earrings, candles, etc. all that are made by local artisans. Go check her out!

February 17, 2023 I paid Shannon in good faith for a painting to be completed before I l flew out March 30 to visit a friend the painting was a gift for. I never heard from her. I called her March 27th to inquire and she was on vacation and clearly had forgotten about my order. I was given a lengthy excuse about how I just did not understand how much she had going on in the shop and how stressful things had been. I explained, in fact I do understand that things are busy and I’m sure stressful and had she just called me I’d understand. She stated she’d see if her assistant could do something. Then I received a text that she’d had her assistant go to Michael’s and put something together. I explained this was not exactly what I felt like I’d ordered please just refund my money. She told me via text she’d “pulled one out of a rabbit hole for me” and again explained I just did not understand how much she had going on. (Again, with proper or any communication I absolutely would understand). Multiple unanswered calls and text later, my money has not yet been refunded. This really hurts my heart to leave this review. I placed my order in good faith and trusted her word in good faith. The Cahaba Heights that I grew up in, the business you conducted your word was good.
And as I stated before, I have complete and total empathy, all she needed to do was have communicated with me in the over one month that she had to complete my order.
