If I could give minus 5 stars that is what you would be seeing, and here is why.
My wife and I went to The Flooring Spot to replace the carpet in the bedrooms with the laminate flooring to match what was already in our new home on 12-6-2024. Louis was our sales person. We explained our situation. The bedrooms were empty and we were expecting delivery of our furniture. He was confident that he could get the flooring delivered if we paid $150.00 expedite pick up fee and he could get the flooring installed prior to the furniture delivery. Needless to say when we called Louis the day prior to the installation date he informed us there was an issue with the installers. We had to contact our furniture deliveries to push the deliveries out past the new installation date. This went on THREE more times. During this time prior to the installation Louis sent us an invoice for additional materials. When I called Louis concerning the invoice he stated that was what the installer told him he needed to install the flooring and then he realized during the conversation that the installer had not been to the house. So there was no way to know if any additional materials were needed for the installation. He did apologize for sending the invoice. There is NO COMMUNICATION from The Flooring Spot unless YOU make the phone call and then receive nothing more than additional false promises. Louis will look you in the eyes and lie to you just to get a sale. If we had not prepaid for the flooring and installation, I would have gone to another flooring distributor and started over. In the end the installer came to the house on 12-26 and finished 12-27-2024. The installer was very professional and his installation was exceptional.
My advice is if you need flooring within a certain timeframe go somewhere else because Louis will fill your hopes with false promises.
