My boyfriend ordered me a cake from this bakery and I was so excited to try. I have had some amazing store bought cakes and was hoping the cake he ordered would be even better. I was disappointed. The cake itself looked nice. However, the flavor was gross. How do you mess up a vanilla cake ? It tasted like it had been thawed from the freezer because it was hard. The icing came right off. Not to mention, you’re paying more for the icing than the actual cake itself because the ratio is so off. I do not want to taste just sugar. I rather eat Duncan Hines boxed cake. The cake itself was dry and crumbly, had a chewy consistency instead of being moist and fluffy. My boyfriend felt so bad, but it’s not his fault. I rather you guys would have refunded my boyfriend than deliver such a sad cake. My boyfriend is not very picky like me, but even he said it wasn’t that good. I would have rather he got me a cake at Walmart or ShopRite, half the price and actually tastes good. I have higher expectations from a bakery and was extremely disappointed on my birthday. Happy with my boyfriend, but not with this bakery! Do better.

Cannot recommend The Cake Boutique enough! Alex and her team are amazing! I have gotten their Dubai bars, a custom cake, and a box of assorted cookies, cupcakes and bars and have loved every one of them!!

Ordered a cake tasting box to be delivered on a specific date. Only to find out they use the USPS to deliver, very disappointed that this isn't coming on the day we specifically scheduled it for. I would have picked it up if it wasn't for the incredibly short pickup windows they offer. Waiting to see when this gets delivered, we'll see how everything tastes. Hopefully, it's not stale.
**UPDATE** order isn't even correct. Wonderful. 4 out of 6 were hard as a rock. Needless to say, we'll be going elsewhere, I can only imagine how difficult a whole cake is for them.

very little variety. no prices on anything way way over priced not worth the price tag.macaroons way over priced I got a dozen didn't like lemon strawberry vanilla or orange. however the birthday cake batter they blue ones with sprinkles are amazing. cupcakes are average when it comes to taste. cake pops could Def be better very blan. staff was rushing around not able to give me prices and seemed annoyed with me asking prices.

The cake boutique did all of the desserts for my baby shower earlier this month. Everything was such a huge hit! Especially the edible image cookies! Everything was amazing!!

It’s rare to find a shop that’s work is as beautiful as it is delicious. We’ve used The Cake Boutique for multiple events now and every time guests start the event in awe of how beautiful the cake is and end the event complimenting how delicious it is. Alexandra has such a gift and creates works of art that act as the centerpiece to any event.

I had ordered a tier cake for my child’s first birthday. It was little expensive but so worth it. The art on the cake was exceptional and the taste of the cake was amazing.
We had the cake delivered by them and had a little incident during the transportation. They were quick with the fixing and made it work for the event. I’m glad I got it delivered than picking up.

The cake was just how we wanted it, it looked amazing. The cake was the masterpiece and the star of the party. It was so fresh and delicious.

This was my first time at the cake boutique and i really loved it. The shop is super cute inside and the staff were very helpful. I picked up my order of 2 bars of Dubai chocolate and it was delicious. Will be back there again, trying other things!
