Best latte we had in the city!! Breakfast was on point and hearty. My wife and I shared the breakfast burrito. The staff was courteous and prompt. They even gave us some tips for cool things to check out in the area. We will def be back.

My favorite breakfast place in Mesilla. When staying in Mesilla, we make a point of grabbing breakfast here at least once. I love the yogurt, granola, and fresh fruit. It's good coffee, too. You order at the counter, and your food is brought to you at your table. We always sit in the back patio when the weather permits. It's a large patio area with overhead fans for those warmer mornings. I like that dogs are only allowed in the front patio area, so they don't disturb other customers who want a relaxing breakfast. Part of the charm of Josefina's is the close proximity to the church. It's wonderful hearing the church bells as you eat your breakfast surrounded by the great landscaping. The staff here are good too and always friendly.

Self-service. If you want a refill, you will have to get up and get it yourself. When done eating, you have to clean up your table. Menu options are minimal. Food is overly priced. Taste was not worth the $$. I do not recommend and will not return. Waste of money.

We stopped in for brunch and some of us were disappointed because they stopped serving breakfast food right as we walked in. The food we ended up ordering was delicious. We sat outside and it was beautiful. There was live music, which was a vibe. There isn't much of a drink selection. I wanted a Sprite but they only had Diet Coke or maybe Coke Zero. I was in Mesilla visiting family and will definitely visit again the next time I'm in town.

This is a great spot for breakfast with both indoor and outdoor seating. The coffee was tasty and the veggie omelet delicious with just the right amount of green chile! Staff are friendly and the location is tranquil.

I have been going to the bean since its opening. However I haven’t been there in the last few months. So I am redoing my rating based on the experience we had today in 2025. Usually this is a safe space for dogs, the service is great etc. But today we had a horrible experience with the server. Apparently after going to this place 10+ times with my dogs, today we couldn’t stay at the bean and had to move. The irate conversation the server had triggered one of our dog. I think we will probably never visit this place again. (I barely write a negative review, but I wanted to do one today.)

Thanks for the response. You guys are amazing. I will redo a review once I have more postive experiences.

Went to this placed and was absolutely amazed. I loved their green room (like a garden). Our waiter was very kind and professional. Ordered the green pozole and it was very flavorful. The quezadillas were quite delicious. I personally would not recommend the red chilaquiles not because they were bad but because i didn't read how they were made which is not what im accustomed to. They are made with pork so basically like a "Colorado" and that's served over beans then under it all are the tostadas.
