It’s slow, and it tends to get busy during lunchtime on travel days. Charging rates are around 40-70 kWh. If you're planning to drive your Long Range Model to Death Valley, you can make it to Badwater + a short stop near Mesquite Dunes and back, but only if you start with a full 100% charge. Stick to speed limits and avoid using the air conditioning. In summer, you need to add a charging stop in Beatty, NV. The valley's uphill terrain when coming back can be challenging for Teslas, so plan your trip and charging strategy carefully.

We got to the charger and there were about 7 cars already trying chargers. It quickly became apparent that none of the chargers were working even though there was no indication of that. They were unable to remotely fix the chargers. Even as we called Tesla and waited to be towed to the nearest supercharger it was clear they did not update the status of the chargers because more and more people kept driving up. Needless to say this was super inconvenient and just terrible customer service

Pro: quiet area, 3 min walk to McDonald's through a skating park.
Con: (as of July 2023) the "restroom" is a port-a-potty.

This is the only stop for a while, expect traffic, though there are slow times. With about 25 cars in queue it took about 2 hours before charging. If all bays are used, max charging speed is about 110KW. A couple small shops near by, and if during the day, see if you can go into the museum.

Edit: Drove back through after the week and only 1 stall being used. It will depends on the day you are traveling

Great chargers but all are in direct Sun! Fast and reliable but a little removed from town.

Bring a sunshade and some water/snack.
