If you want a locAL ? family owned and run surf & skate shack.... This is the place for you.

The owners are completely knowledgeable, helpful, and supportive of everyone that walks in their venue. Whether it's skating, surfing, or just advice on moving to the area. You'll feel like you're at home every time you walk through the door.

I moved here last month and there have been no more helpful people in acclimating to the area. Tambo & Sydney are one of a kind.

On a community note, sports in general, physical activity, and physical fitness, all play into mental well-being. All of which are detrimental to the youth of this community (any community). This place offers both Surf & Skate camps to learn, participate, be part of a community and form bonds/connections with others who partake and have interest in the same things.

Establishments like these are truly one of a kind and extremely important to, play a detrimental role in, and are part of the community's soul.

Can't rate or recommend this shop highly enough. Definitely give them a stop, check out, and a go if you're looking for an amazing skate/surf shop or amazing place/environment in general. Won't be disappointed.

What a sick spot… surf + skate shop, coffee shop, AND a lil indoor skate park under one roof?! I came here just to check it out but ended up working remotely from here for a full afternoon. The owner is cool, the vibe is right… I highly recommend.

The kids and I walked in and immediately Tambo and Sydney treated us like family. We bought a couple of surfboards that were accurately recommended. First time in Gulf shores and wasn’t sure about how we liked it. My daughter fell in love with this beach thanks to our experience there. Must go, must see, and definitely must give it a try.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I do not surf or skate, just stopped in because it was an interesting store. The owners were absolutely awesome! Super friendly, informative, and told us so much about golf Shores that we would’ve never known about being visitors. If they treat tourist that are not going to spend any money this perfect, I can only imagine that they are phenomenal to their customers. Also, they have an indoor skate park! It’s not huge, but it’s an indoor skate park! How awesome is that? Take your kids there immediately!

Not open.
We drove all the way there for the sign to be lit up saying "open" and the light inside to be on however no one was there. We waited around for a hour hoping they just forgot to unlock the doors. It looked nice from the window just bad management I guess. We finally gave up and will never visit again, waist of time.

This place has everything you need and a bowl to skate. This is a straight up locAL joint and it doesn't get any better. Tambo and his family are the epitome of skate and surf culture. They take care of you and treat you like family. The chain stores will never give you service like Tambo's. Get there and support this place.
