We went on a Friday for breakfast at 8 am and we were seated right away. Shortly after we arrived it started to get busy and there was a wait. The staff were very friendly and turned the tables over quickly with their exceptional service. All the employees work together and it makes their restaurant stand out. Our food was very good and there was plenty to choose from. There is street parking and approximately a block down is a free parking lot. This area has many restaurants and specialty shops. We will definitely return.

Very warm welcome when approaching the cafe, wait time was less than 15 min.
The customer service was excellent, food came out rather quickly to our surprise and was absolutely stupendous and extremely pleasant to the palate.
We had the shrimp and grits and the sirloin avocado halves with eggs and home fries, both were a “order again” breakfast.
The cinnamon honey coffee was also an excellent choice as well, nice and creamy and full of wonderful flavors.
Note: the prices are great and the menu has many interesting “have to try” breakfast choices.

There are so many places to eat breakfast. Some are ok, some aren’t good at all. This restaurant is seriously good. Get there early, it’s also very popular. However, they do try to move people along quickly so the wait is, typically, not long. The staff is always friendly and they are on top of your needs. The grits are the best I’ve had in FL (right up there with mine). The price is right and it is a quick visit leaving happy and full. I’ve not tried lunch but I understand it’s just as great.

This place is amazing. We were greeted with a warm welcome and was seated right away. Our servers were very attentive and friendly. All the servers were working together tending to all the guests. Our food came out very fast and someone was always asking us if we are ok. Food was delicious!!!! One of the best cafes 🍵 we’ve been to. Highly recommend and will be back again!

I saved this place on my map as one of my favorite places to eat, I wish there was one closer to Tampa!
Madi's service was awesome! But Every waitress checked on me and other tables, helping each other like a real team...Imagine that 🙂

Everything I had here was delicious and I even got food to go.

I chose the build your own skillet. With ham bacon sausage, home-fries potatoes with scrambled eggs and avocado with shredded cheddar cheese melted in it! It was delicious and not overly heavy.

I've been to many breakfast spots, but Sunrise City Cafe is truly a standout. I ended up visiting two days in a row because the food was just that good! Their breakfast options are delicious, with a variety that caters to different dietary preferences. The service was quick and efficient, even during the morning rush. One highlight for me was discovering that they offer sugar-free syrup—something you don’t always find but appreciate when you do.

What really elevated the experience was their cold coffee drinks. Whether you’re a coffee aficionado or just looking for something refreshing to start your day, these are a must-try! The cafe has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with a friendly team that makes you feel at home. I can confidently say that Sunrise City Cafe is now a regular stop on my breakfast rotation. Highly recommended!

This place was so cute! All the waitresses were super attentive and sweet. Altho they were busy the service did not lack and the food was served quickly. Plus the food and drinks were great. We had their cold teas and they were so good and refreshing. I've never had a shrimp omelette before. Unique plate but tasty. Will definitely go there again when in area.

Hello folks, I would like to welcome you to the great city of Fort Pierce my hometown. Yesterday was my 46 Birthday 1/13 and I want to give you my honest review on the restaurant that my good ole Elementary/Middle school and childhood friend Dwight Jones brought me too for my birthday. The restaurant is called Sunrise City Cafe in downtown Fort Pierce.

When entering you will be greeted immediately ✅
Our waitress sat us down and took our drink orders. We all had waters and I had a Cinnamon Toast Crunch Hot Coffee✅
Right after our drinks arrived she took our food order.
I ordered this Slam breakfast 🤔 2pc bacon, (crispy) they asked how you wanted cooked. 2 eggs over well, sourdough toast, grits (THE BEST I EVER EVER EVER EATEN IN MY 46yrs OF LIVING) with parmesan cheese on top, and 2 pancakes. The food came out very quick i must say. (Like 10mins tops)
Very little cafe but with a big atmosphere. Very busy place and the service is fast and the waitresses are pleasant and friendly. Tables a little small especially when you have 4 people and multiple plates and drinks that cover the amount of table space. We managed it though. Overall rating: 10/10 must recommend AGAIN AGAIN AGAIN. The food was phenomenal. Very delicious and well prepared. This was my first time here and definitely won’t be my last. Order out, Dine in & Delivery available. Y’all don’t SLEEP on this restaurant like I did. If you do well, you gonna miss out on some good ole southern hospitality cooking.
Oh before I forget get. My girlfriend ordered the meat lovers omelette them same good grits and some sausage gravy. That sausage gravy was outstanding delicious.
