Although this was a small job, Stonecorp just did a great job cutting marble for the saddle of my shower pan. Maggie and her crew were wonderful. I’m a DIY’r and so I gave them templates but my measurements were a little bit off. I brought the cut marble back to them twice and they fine tuned and cut it to fit my exact arrangement. They’re a good bunch of people over there Stonecorp.

Excellent experience. Christian was professional and patient with this nervous, thrifty home owner. 🙂 Feel like he gave me a very competitive price and with very good turn around time. There was a small change I asked to be made to the way the sink was mounted and they came back handled it quickly. Overall fit against walls and appliances is spot on, and the seam for the peninsula piece looks great.

From selection to installation, every step of our experience with Stone Corp was amazing. When I went in and explained my project, I didn't have to waste hours and hours of time looking at samples. Christian understood exactly what my wife and I were looking for and showed us selections that made our decision fast and easy. Then when the stone was cut, I got a personalized phone call to double check our order and custom preferences to ensure there was no mistake. And most importantly, their word was gold. We were on a tight time budget, but the day they said the project would be done was the day it was done. No having to hassle people to do their job. No answering machines and phone tag. These guys are professionals and the result was stunning. My wife and I were blown away! Will definitely be back for other projects.

Initially, we were very happy using Stone Corp for our quartz countertop. They were helpful when we picked out our stone and gave us what we felt was a reasonable price for the counters for our new kitchen. The installation, however, is another story. My wife was home when they installed, and she said the guys were friendly and professional. About 15 minutes after they left, however, while she was showing me the counters via FaceTime, she noticed that the top of our new farmhouse sink was scratched. The sink is made of fireclay, which is extremely durable and should not scratch easily. She sent me two pictures of the scratches, which I forwarded to our contractor, who reached out to Stone Corp. They responded with a picture of their own, and stated that when they finished the installation, the sink was not scratched. The photo that they took was at an angle and from a distance where the scratch would not be visible, perhaps not intentionally, or perhaps they didn't notice the scratches. The photo was taken and shared as confirmation and "proof" that when they were done, the sink had no scratches, but that simply cannot be the case.

We installed the sink the day before they came to template, and the sink remained there for 19 days of kitchen construction, while we waited to be scheduled and then rescheduled, and was, according to Stone Corp, unscratched when they finished installing. So now I'm here, expected to believe that a fireclay sink - that is very durable and would take something hard and heavy to scratch it (like a maybe a few hundred pounds of quartz counter sliding around) was unscathed during 19 days of construction, including the counter installation, but somehow was scratched by my wife in the 15 minutes after they left while she walked around with her phone in her hand.

My frustration with Stone Corp is not the fact that they scratched our sink. Our kitchen is under construction and mistakes happen. No project will ever be completed without mistakes that need to be fixed along the way. We had two separate issues with our cabinets, too, and when we brought them to the company's attention, our problem was attended to and the issue was fixed.  My contractor assured me that we'll find a solution for the scratch. My frustration with Stone Corp is that they would not simply own up to scratching the sink or even begin any kind of conversation about how we can address it. Before leaving this review, I reached out to Stone Corp about my concern and frustration, but over a week and a half later, I have not gotten the courtesy of a response, let alone an admission that they scratched the sink or any kind of offer to rectify the situation. It feels to be that from their perspective, I got my counter, they got their money, and they have no reason to admit that the installation caused any collateral damage and are just interested in moving on to the next customer. At this point, I would not recommend using StoneCorp. There are plenty of other companies out there, most of whom I would think would work harder to create a better customer experience.

StoneCorp went above and beyond to ensure we were selecting the perfect countertops for our project and budget. We highly recommend them for any job.
