makes no sense that they change your carts, you are exposing yourself to other peoples germs even more because they do not disinfect the carts- absolutely poor quality food- lots of this food looks as if it is parished, the prices here are ridiculously high

go to dollar general at least you know they have most of what you need and you dont want to buy the rotten produce here anyway or eggs that have no dates on them, 7.99 for 3liters of milk is a bit riduculous when it is 5.00 at walmart i am boycotting this store its sad that they rip so many people off especially since it is in a dilapidated town and most people have no means of transportation-sad sad sad

*prices of walmart vs stire for comparison

This place is horrible. Managment is never there. The clerks don't speak English. Everything is near expiration and the prices suck. CLOSE THIS STORE DOWN AND SELL IT.

Getting a little tired of going to this place and the things I need are months expired!! Went in about a month ago for cheese. And all but one slice cheese expired in September!! Are you kidding me. Constantly below standard produce. It is literally the only super market in chaparral. All the other stores carry necessities. And this is what we get. I dont have a picture of the cheese date but my wife does. These are boxed potatoes I was gonna use with some chicken. Not from stires.

Why not five stars? Products are over-priced, for one. Drive not even 10 minutes into El Paso and much of what you find here you can get there for about 25% off, if not more. Mr. Stires started something great here, but he can charge what he wants because there's no real competition.

Other than that, it's a clean, homely place to shop. Friendly staff, they occasionally have good bargains, and it's convenient.

Update 10/2/23 This place sucks now. The owners still have no idea what they are doing. Nothing is ever restocked. Prices are horrible. The clerks are dumb. NO one ever answers the phone. Whoever owns this place now please sell to someone that knows how to run a business.
