I was very disappointed in the hotel. The hotel was under major construction during our stay, which I was not made aware of before my stay. I was staying there with a traveling sports team. We would have checked out immediately because the place was such a dump, but the rest of the team was staying there. The desk staff was very inappropriate. You could hear several staff members complaining after guests had called from there rooms with problems. The sheet on my sons beds had to be changed because they were soiled. I would never stay at this dump again. I should have just checked out when I saw the place. Trust me go somewhere else, don't waste your money. Also all the kids were looking forward to swimming, but of course the indoor pool was closed.

*Photos taken on the last day of our stay! That’s why the bed isn’t made perfectly, and there are no towels out!*
We stayed here for 7 days, 6 nights!
We were skeptical about staying here due to the past reviews, but once we arrived and saw our room we were pleasantly surprised and decided to stay.
They are doing construction and renovations at this property! We got one of the newly renovated rooms (see photos.) Yes, the renovations were not the most expensive and done perfectly, but if you are able to look past that, it was a very nice room!
We were provided adequate shampoo, conditioner, body wash and towels!
Due to the hotel still being under renovations, the elevators were not the best looking due to them not having gotten to those renovations yet!
As of 7/2/2024, they do are still doing construction during the day and we did have our water turned off until about 4pm.
It did not bother us much though as we were not at the hotel much during those times and in the afternoons the water was back on!
The breakfast was okay, sausage, eggs, cereal, muffins, bagels, waffles, juice, yogurt, and milk will offered.
We did not use the pool during our stay but it was sad to see that they do not have a hot tub anymore, it has been covered up and there is now table and chairs where it used to be. Our microwave buttons were in another language and the fridge is very very small.
After check out, we did find out that we had been charged $12 a day for parking, in which they did not mention or tell us before our stay. We had only assumed we might get charged that due to other reviews.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay if you can look past all of those things!

This is not a great hotel. Even from the condition of the parking lot and the exterior of the building I was worried that I had made a mistake staying here, and going inside only confirmed that. The hotel is under construction, though they certainly don't tell you that anywhere in the booking process. The lobby smells terrible, and everywhere you look things are old, dirty, broken, or all three.

Once I got to my room things were slightly better. The room is updated, but feels more like an average dorm than a nice hotel room. The TV is in a weird spot, and everything feels cheap. The water pressure in the shower is basically non-existent. And the room is LOUD. The door has a huge gap on the bottom, and all night all you hear is slamming doors and construction noises. Plus the breakfast is sparse and cheap.

I almost exclusively stay at Marriot hotels, but this one made me rethink that plan. It was old, cheap, and not the level of comfort I usually expect.

We had no idea that the renovations were going to be that visible and audible. There was constant debris and such in the entry and elevators. The elevators themselves were all boarded up and a bit scary, as I'm assuming the renovations will be done to them last. There were no working ice machines unless you asked the front desk to let you in to the one near the breakfast area. Our room itself was mostly nice and newly renovated, but it was obviously not done to a very high standard (we had a shelf that was loose, and there were multiple rust stains on the porcelain in the bathtub, which also did not drain completely, so must have been put in without the correct leveling). There was only one small wastebasket for a suite made for 6 people. The coffee cups didn't match the size of the holders for them. As one other review said, "If you squint, it's great." Just don't look too closely. 😉

The breakfast was great, with the exception of not having any bagels/toast/breaded items the first two days we were there, despite there being a toaster and the peanut butter/jelly/cream cheese sitting there that you would use on those items.

The staff was mostly very helpful. We did have to go down to ask for more towels and toilet paper (as well as the ice). There was one staff member who didn't act very professionally and got into a loud argument with another customer in front of a lot of breakfasting people.

We had to use the laundry facility on the third floor, which is unfortunately one of the floors being renovated, and that was not pleasant. Thankfully, we were out of the hotel during most of the day and so avoided the majority of the noises from the renovations.

The pool itself is small but in good repair, but there is no hot tub. Some rust on some chairs that probably shouldn't have been in the pool area in the first place.

Considering this is under the Marriott name, we were really shocked at the state of disrepair of the parking lot, the entry area, the elevators, the hallways, etc. There was paint chipping, carpet not lining up, and more that we couldn't figure out if it had not yet been renovated or if it was just done that poorly. We're used to camping, so any hotel is going to be better than that, but we were still surprised and really disappointed. We know a lot of people who would have left after one night (or even one look), especially when the Marriott name tends to imply a certain level of care for their buildings.

We booked this hotel on points but we were seriously disappointed. The room had a faint smell and everything in it was worn. From the furniture to the toilet seat. The elevator was a construction project, they are working on the updating the property. The pool furniture was so bad, rusty and ripped. The staff were friendly and helpful. The fact that they charged us $12 a night to park was ridiculous. Not sure how they let this place get this bad and hopefully they can fix it up quickly.

Positive: The breakfast was pretty good, and the staff (with one exception) was very helpful. Negative: Constant debris and such in the entry and elevators. The elevators were all boarded up and a bit scary. No working ice machines. Shelves in our newly renovated room were loose. Rust stains in the tub, which also did not drain all the way completely.

Despite the remodeling confusion, overall, a good stay. The room was quaint and very clean. Had a problem with the thermostat, but it's no big deal. Service was wonderful, this is the only hotel we trust in Denver.

As of July 2024 this property is under a past due and very much needed renovation.
Pros: The staff is fantastic and doing the best they can with what they have to work with.
Cons: the property itself - it's dirty, wallpaper is peeling off the walls, stains on carpet & furniture. The carpet and furniture look grimy. Room smelled musty. Shower has rust stains. Ours even came with eyelashes.

We ended up not staying the night and opted for a different hotel.

Hopefully the renovation includes complete replacement of carpet, furniture & fixtures. You can see that at one point it was probably a nice hotel but it is not well maintained. Maybe it will be restored back to what it once was.
