What started as high hopes for this bar, was a quickly and disappointingly a letdown. Firstly, the seating is ridiculously low—uncomfortably so. It felt like we were sitting at a kids' table while trying to enjoy a drink. When a joking comment was made to the bartenders, they were bemused and unfriendly. They did not seem to be customer friendly. Not exactly the hospitality you’d expect from a place that’s supposed to be fun and inviting. The food, which we expected to be of high quality, was a quick let down. We ordered the calamari and had high hopes of being fresh and crispy. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The calamari was very rubbery and bland with a spicy sauce that only had a few red pepper flakes dispersed throughout. Being less than 10 minutes from several inlets and marinas I expected high quality fresh seafood, especially calamari which is easily caught off the New Jersey coast.
Overall, this place seems more focused on looking trendy than actually providing good service or quality food. Definitely won’t be coming back.

I recently went to the Spring Lake Tap House, and it was an exceptional experience! From the moment my friends and I walked in, our waiter Kyle made us feel right at home. Despite a humorous stumble when he greeted us, Kyle turned it into a lighthearted moment, saying, "Well, that would have been a funny way to introduce each other!" From that point on, he was incredibly kind and attentive.

Kyle shared wonderful stories about New Jersey and offered fantastic recommendations, enhancing our evening. The food was amazing as well. Everything we tried was delicious . If you're looking for a place with great food and even better service, Spring Lake Tap House is the spot to visit. Thanks to Kyle, we'll definitely be back!

The atmosphere and service are the highlights of this place, but the food fails to impress. The quality doesn’t justify the high prices, though the specials offer a better deal—unfortunately, they start after typical dinner hours. It’s like they know what they have but fail to make it better.

Came here for the first time for an endless mimosa brunch and it was fabulous!! Great atmosphere with an awesome DJ playing the best music and had the best service ! We ordered the Tablewhich sandwich and apple and Brie toast which was amazing and the best fries!! Will be back to try them for dinner or lunch !!

Went for lunch with a friend the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. The restaurant is very close to the train station. Our server was very nice and friendly. I had the spaghetti and meatballs and the serving size was huge. It helped that I had run around Central Park that morning. We were seated outside and it felt quiet.

My friend & I stopped in after a beach day two Saturday’s ago. When we walked in, we made our way to the bar and started with some drinks. He ordered a Long Island iced tea and I had a beer. The bartender, Katherine, was SO friendly and helped us get the Phillies game on to watch as well as recommended food for us. We ordered a burger with onion rings and the chilli shrimp flatbread. 10/10 - SO delicious!! Thanks Spring Lake Taphouse, can’t wait to come back 🙂

Visited for dinner on a Saturday night. Jacklyn could care less how we enjoyed our meal. Ordered the fish and chips off the evenings special menu. Fish over cooked. No chips came with my fish and chips, zero f’s given when this was brought to Jacklyn s’s attention. Loud can be forgiven, it’s Saturday night. They start literally taking tables away until they got to ours while we are finishing our meal.

Brunch is served on weekends only from 11 to 2pm and is fireeee. 🔥 A must try is the S’mores French Toast that is completed with a smokey finish by a flame at your table. And let’s not forget about everyone’s favorite …pizzaaaaa. Ask how to get your complimentary Breakfast Pizza with your Brunch order- just imagine that ultimate combo … breakfast + pizza (made with bacon, Taylor ham, sausage, & veggies)

Besides Brunch specials, SLT has Happy Hour offers, daily specials like Half-Off Wednesdays, and back my popular demand is Taco & Trivia on Tuesday nights! 🌮
