Quite expensive but it's a garage in Lake District so...
Cash point inside, charged at 1.25 to withdraw.
Mostly everything you need is in there. Staff is lovely if you're not being a d*ck.
Open everyday. And has a postal services as well. Very handy little shop.

Served by the rudest women ever around 3pm today. I got the items out of the basket and she rudely told me to put them back in. Then again when we had a scratch card that wanted cashing in was very abrupt. We made our thoughts known. Then she proceeded to argue how she was not being rude. I said she should work on her customer service skills, I’d never expect the arguing back that made things worse. Think she needs to review the spa’s policies and procedures in how to do her job or not work in customer service. You’d think people would be more friendly to folks visiting the area. Go to the other local shops instead.

Visit the spar on a regular basis. Hayley is brilliant. Very friendly to customers and very welcoming. A smile and good customer service makes visiting all that better. Thank you very much.

Probably the worst experience. Avoid at all costs. Customer service ZERO. Lady behind the till has to be, hands down, the most unhelpful, RUDE and demonstrated an arrogance and complete disrespect for her customers. Spent a small fortune, and understanding I may be taking up time, I allowed several other customers to go before me. Then my turn, well what can I say, after being told off for helping unpack my basket, I then watched her slam and bang my purchases on the counter. Then watched her slam drawers and sarcastically say thanks, as I paid.
Just dreadful. Shop elsewhere where they actually care you’re spending money in their store. Shameful behaviour.

Best Spar ever ! On a little holiday the ATM in the Spar was out of order so we couldn’t get fish and chips located down the road from the Spar as it was cash only….Spar wouldn’t do cash back…2 beers for a fiver that will have to do…lady behind the till seemed a little agitated I salute her dealing with all the tourists - she deserves a bonus or some recognition, retail can be tough!

No parking was available so parked alongside pump. When checking out was asked if I had any fuel, I said no. Which the woman at the till then snapped and told me rudely in future to park in one of the parking bays. However, as I said, they were all full. She then began to explain that I was blocking other garage users. When I was the only one on the forecourt. I was having a pretty bad day to begin with and to be snapped at in a place I feel so comfortable with, it’s kinda ruined the end of my day and has made me feel terrible. I’ll only be using this location when I’m absolutely desperate in future.

Utterly incredible how these people treat customers. If ‘rude’ was question one on the application form it’s no wonder these people have jobs! I’m a ashamed to be a local if this is how you probably treat tourists! Tonight you were rude when we entered, then thumbed my partner in when she was ok to come in, then rude at the till. This is the third time in your shop and we have always left upset by the manner of the staff. Shocking! But because you have no competition you think it’s ok? Without customers you’d have no business. Very poor!
