There is a place in there what shoe section kind of close to when you get to the door and it’s a lady in there Chinese couple I believe selling shoes. There is a pair of Jordans that they sit behind the counter and it’s been $290 and another pair of $270 and that price has not changed in three years. I’ve been going there every 2 to 3 months for those shoes and it’s the same price after three years bullshit J-11 is trying to rip people off those shoes. I’ve been sitting at the back desk for three years at the same price but everything else they keep putting on sale.

loved this place i found what i was looking for and i got more out of my buck! being from out of state this place is cheap compared to where i normally go for 14k gold chains! next time i come to visit family in Long Beach this is the place im definitely stopping by to see what the have in store!!

The name has seemed to change to give it a different persona, but as you remember. It's still the slauson swapmeet. Once a moving company storage facility converted into an indoor swapmeet. You have many vendors sectioned off in rows upon rows with various merchandise. You'll still find clothing, fine jewelry, fashion jewelry, electronic gadgets, shoes, auto accessories & household items. A few fast food eateries in the back. You will also find personal care shops ( hair cuts & nail shops). A public restroom open for their patrons. The layout in the restrooms are very tight quarters. There is ample parking. For handicap accessibility there is a big ramp to enter the building. Which is the main entrance for all. On our visit, security was checking temperatures of all customers entering the building. The place is usually busy and the parking lot is generally congested. Pricing on items are reasonable and racks of clearance items at many vendor's.

The old swap meet hasn't changed much. There is pretty much anything you want you could find here from the bland to spectacular. There are armed security guards checking bags at each entrance. Food and ATM machines inside. Mostly cheap clothing, tennis shoes, jewelry amd perso alized items. There are beauty services, supplies, toy, makeup, African, candle/oils and sage. Hot nails may not look like much but they do a great job.

I go to the Slauson all the time. I love the store art doctor that's one of my favorite places. They make the best shirts and Banners in shoes and other things
