I love this store lived here for 25 plus year and always make a stop here at least once a day. I've seen employees come and go and some really cool employees, unfortunately there's one that works the graveyard shift that couldn't be more rude and disrespectful. His name is TJ so he says and works graveyard, I went in to get water for my dogs and tried the water from the soda fountain well the water comes out pinkish so I went to TJ the cashier and asked if he would fill my water bottle and as rude as could be said to use the water from soda fountain I told him the problem and asked if he could get it from the faucet behind the counter and then he yells "JESUS CRIEST And stomped off at that point I just said forget it, I wasn't rude I asked nicely and his tone and behavior was completely uncalled for and even if he doesn't like me for some unknown reason his professional customer service skills should be forthcoming first before personal. The guy is a a***ole and this needs to be known.

Um yes! You wouldn't know it but they make some great food. I highly suggest the breakfast croissant, and ordering a pizza. The Bears Den for the Kenai River Brown Bears hockey team is in there too. The staff is cool too.

Short stop was one of my favorite places to go to as a child. They still have the big ice creams for a great price. I like the change to the seating area although I do miss the arcade.

got a few burgers/ sandwiches, it was good, they were friendly and helpful. A nice dining place to wait and not to bad at all for a gas station! As per photo, Thank you Mark, we did enjoy!!!
large portions, well seasoned and thoroughly cooked, job well done!
I will "short stop" again!

I will start by saying that is place has the BEST Ranch EVER!!! This is a normal stop for me if I need a quick bite to eat. They have a wide variety of hot food items including pizza, burgers, and burritos. The reason for the 3 Star review is because they lack on consistency and customer service.

Very good ranch and jo jos, but service is lacking big time. They don’t wear gloves, and the lady with purple hair was touching her mouth while asking me what I wanted. I am a germaphobe, but this Was extra disgusting... considering she doesn’t seem like a very clean person. I don’t think I’ll be back...
