We ordered a cake for my daughter’s baptism a month in advance and requested it ready for 11am on the day of her baptism. The cake was not ready until 12:40pm and this delay made us significantly late to the church. When I asked why the cake was late the woman said “my baker called out sick”. That sounds like an internal problem and if people are paying full price they should be notified of any delays. Not to mention the script on the cake was horrendous. We have ordered several cakes from this ShopRite, but this will be the last. Terrible customer service and very rude staff.

Just stopped in today to see the vibe. I am neurodivergent and I deal with anxiety/sensory overwhelm. Recently had negative experience at Weis with an employee, so i wanted to try this store before I go to using instacart/delivery.

Being neurodivergent I have experienced discrimination while out just shopping because I act differently from other people. Shopping isn't easy for many of us and we often need help with things.

I stopped in around 4 pm - at least 3 or 4 real people at the registers, so 4 lines to choose from. Each line, there was only one person ahead so not a long wait. So I didn't have to use the self check out which is so nice to have help when I am shopping.

LOTS OF VEGAN, DAIRY FREE AND HEALTHY OPTIONS. So so many ! healthy breads, pasta, crackers. Holy cow ! 🐮 WAY BETTER than trader joes (denville) and way better than ShopRite in Wharton/rockaway in terms of SELECTION. quality of the fruit was fresh, nothing was going bad.

overall vibe was decent. Lots of staff on the floor. No one stared at me or treated me differently. All the staff was busy and focused on their jobs. Very good experience

Bathrooms are right when you walk in which is GREAT for anyone who has chronic bladder or gastrointestinal issues (me). TARGET is the only other store that has bathrooms in the entrance. So many stores you have to go all the way to the back to find bathrooms. IBS and the elderly appreciate accessible bathrooms

The only weird thing is the hand dryers are weird in the ladies bathroom lol 😹 really weird

Located conveniently off Rt-10 and close by Howard Blvd, this location is set-up differently than other locations I visit in Wharton and Dover. Some highlights I enjoyed was the cleanliness and organization of the store, it's lightning balance and ease of accessing plenty self check out kiosks.

There is something wrong in this store. For one thing, this store is not listed on the Shoprite web site. I think it's about to close, because time and time again, common items are out of stock and remain so for weeks at a time. Spare yourself a disappointing experience and go elsewhere.

Truckers if 1st time here I came from 80 to Us--10 eastbound it to 281 HWY 10 but when u get there u will make a right turn at the light when u get to commerce and main aka US 10 (landmark is Speedway gas station on the right) after right turn u will see dollar tree n on left continue to the 3rd driveway u will see a post office next driveway behind post office is for trucks go straight down pass home depot docks n then u see shoprite

3 Reasons not to Recycle Exchange here :
1. The machine doesn’t print out a ticket and you will have to ask customer service for one
2. They claim it’s not an “even” exchange and you just receive 50% off your next 5G bottle. What sign did YOU read?
3. Poland Spring, the only brand you receive this deal on, is DOUBLE THE PRICE of all the other branded 5G bottles available!!

Scam! Shame on Poland Spring, and shame on ShopRite.

The ShopRite in Succasunna is well below average. Too many times I have found produce spoiled and still sitting on the shelf. Today I bought a bag of potatoes and some were rotten. I have also found on occasion in the freezer some ice cream containers are damaged and put out to sell. If you’re going to shop here really check your items before you buy them. For me I am done shopping here and going somewhere else.

What happened to this shoprite On top of subtle price gouging since Corona started, they run schemes to trick customers into buying higher price products. See example in picture, only the original flavor is 1.69. So not only do they try to dupe customers by putting only the original flavor on sale, they then put the sour dough flavor which is more than double the price next to the sale items hoping customers pick one of each flavor thinking both are on sale. That is just a low and deceitful move !!!
