Employee stocking meats and a customer talking loudly and rudely about politics. I told the worker that he shouldn’t be discussing politics on the job and he laughed at me. I don’t go food shopping to hear nonsense talk about the president, especially from an employee. The place is clean and well stocked.

Marlton’s ShopRite sells chicken paws that are rich in collagen.
I use it to make Bone Broth.
The cooked bone broth turns to gelatin in the refrigerator.
I drink it like a hot beverage or I use it to cook lentils, steel-cut oats, butternut squash or plantains.

Need something specific? They probably don’t have it. Produce never lasts long. Deli counter is consistently understaffed. The ShopRite from home employees are unbelievable rude and inconsiderate of anyone that is not themselves. There’s giant holes patched throughout the floor in the store with literally duct tape. But at least they put in new candy racks at the cash registers 🙄.

Terrible customer service. I started going to this store on the advice of a co-worker several months ago. The staff hardly speak or say hello. Especially some of the day staff at the self check out. (Older Caucasian female with white hair who now she works in customer service) I went this weekend (1-12-25) to purchase razors I saw on the app and was told by customer service it's not in the circular, its wasn't their app it wasn't their store. Complete run around. I asked to speak to a manager Laura who admitted the item was on the app but was a discontinued item and apologized for the mix up. This is something the the customer service could have done but did not. I did not feel like a valued customer. And I can't lie, I get a racist vibe from some of the staff.

This pertains to all 3 Shop Rites near me, Union Mill, Nixon Dr and Marlton. Prices on the shelves never show up in the system. My app shows a digital coupon loaded, system doesn't take it off. I continuously have to ask the front cashiers to take the item off. I won't be ripped off.

We were there Friday(28 March 2025) evening around 5pm. So it's definitely not late at night. We went to the seafood section to get some Old Bay shrimp to use in a seafood salad I was going to make. First off, there was bo one at the counter and all the lights were off. It looked like both the deli and the seafood sections were closed! We did get someone to help us and ordered a half pound of the shrimp. The shrimp turned out to be overcooked, dried out and tasted old. There was zero moisture in the shrimp, it was like chewing on shoe leather! I will never get ANY seafood from there again. At least I know the Shoprites in Hainesport and Medford has good, FRESH seafood all the time. Went to get a few other things while there and the layout of the store is confusing at best and not much variety in their offerings. We will definitely not be shopping there again!!

The bakery is terrible and the male workers in the deli section look disheveled and not clean. Whatever you order in the deli, they slice it above what you ask for!! The deli case does not look clean and its not a very pleasant presentation at all.

The self checkout (20 item limit ans the larger conveyer belt check out area) is filthy! Doesn't look like it's ever cleaned. Crumbs and debri on the sides and cracks of the scanner and conveyer belt!!

The store is also poorly inventoried! They are always out of stock of things (even on sale items) and the variety of products is underwhelming to say the least.

They don't seem to rotate stock because they seem to have too many outdated sell by or use by dates.

This is the 2nd week in a row I had to spend 20 mins back to shoprite and 20 mins back home because this shoprite is NOT honoring their special mealtime favorites prices! Last week they didn't honor the free potatoes, broth, onion and carrots with pot roast. That was over 6 dollars. This week they did not honor the 4 for 10$ Ben and Jerry deal! That was 3.00. Extremely ANNOYED! two weeks in a row makes me feel it's NOT an accident. More like a scam. Check your receipt!
