I recently visited ShopRite and had a mixed experience. The cashier was extremely nice and helpful, but I encountered a pricing issue with a ShopRite brand salad. It was labeled as $2.79 but rang up as $3.79. I chose it over Fresh Express ($3.00) due to the lower price. If the Shop Rite brand was labeled as ($3.79) I would have just selected the Fresh Express brand at ($3.00) the on sale item. A supervisor named Bella was called she insisted the whole row of salads were in the wrong spot or labeled wrong (which isn’t the customer’s fault). When she finally returned with the correct items, she tossed one of the bags on the counter. Tossing someone’s food isn’t acceptable. It should have been placed down or handed to me properly, just as I handed it to her.

Rather than inconveniencing a long line of customers over an employee’s labeling mistake, the store should honor the displayed price. This experience makes me reconsider shopping at this location to avoid issues like this.

I hate coming to this store. I am a big self checkout person. I typically go here for work related items. But sometimes personal as well and I do several transactions. The Indian woman who is always near or around self checkout is WAY too aggressive!! Last time I was in, she accused me of stealing bc of having to do 2 transactions - the 2nd of which I hadn't started yet, so I guess she assumed I was stealing. She tried to grab my handbag from the cart and said she needs to look in it! I was appalled and embarrassed. I asked for a manager - who rang me up and wasn't as bad but still passive aggressive. And today I was yelled at bc I bought items from the "self service" salad bar - which she accused me of taking from the deli counter and not getting a sticker for. I'm sure I was overcharged, but I just didn't care at that point. Idk who is robbing you guys, but it's not me! I'm a well dressed business woman w a company card to make purchases. But I'll happily make them elsewhere. It's a shame bc the other staff are lovely and the store is nice.

Kudos to the two butchers who helped me on Christmas Eve! No regular chuck roasts were available in the meat section and the prime rib was way too expensive for me. I started talking to one of the butchers about really needing a roast for myself on Christmas, and he went in the back and talked to the other butcher and he cut one up special for me! I didn’t need to rethink my entire dinner since I had the roast ingredients so I really appreciated the extra mile. Thank you both! Merry Christmas!

It’s a decent store, but smaller than other ShopRite locations. They don’t help with bagging at all and just watch while you do it, without offering to assist. They even start ringing up the next customer’s items while you’re still bagging, making you feel rushed. I understand they may not have to help since they no longer provide bags, but at least give customers time to pack their things. I do appreciate the staff members who do offer to help. Overall, it’s an okay store.

I placed an online order for pickup yesterday at this location and when I called this morning because I haven't gotten anything saying my order was being picked or any info about my order they told me they didn't have my order in their system. I'm a single mother and it's so hard to find a babysitter to go pick up my food every time I try to order food because I can't always get delivery and every time I order online this seems to be an ongoing issue and for them to not have any of my info after I got a confirmation that my order was placed is unexcusable. I'm highly upset with this store. I wouldn't recommend shopping here online for your food they don't know what they're doing obviously.

A few moments ago, my friend and I were outside ShopRite, looking at pumpkins for a carving tomorrow, unaware the store had just closed. An older woman at the front gave us a lot of attitude and was unnecessarily rude about the situation. It was a simple misunderstanding, but her reaction was surprising and left us feeling like we’d done something wrong. As someone who shops here often and lives nearby, it was shocking to be treated so poorly. A polite reminder that the store had closed would have been more than enough. It was a frustrating and unnecessary encounter.

Large Supermarket. Not one I had visited before, but I happened to be in the area. The selection was good. The clerk at checkout was very patient with the customer ahead of me. (The scanner/computer was misbehaving.)

We recently ordered two Mediterranean Grilled Chicken Sandwich Platters (Lemon chicken, pesto, romaine lettuce and roasted red peppers on a sub roll) from their catering department. The 5 inch long sandwiches are very flavorful, filling, and delicious. Next time we plan to buy one tray and cut each sandwich in half, which could easily serve 10-12 people.

On a side note, our order was placed online and was ready when we arrived at the deli department. The deli staff was very helpful and provided a bar code to scan at self checkout. I wish everything was this easy! 🙂
