Here is where you buy your fishing day pass and your bait. They also have a food truck on the side most days if you get hungry in the AM

Came out for a walk. Beautiful place with Flora and wildlife. Bathrooms everywhere and at lake 4 they have food, liquor and large seating area. Nice way to spend Saturday.

Use the main entrance to lakes and park, nothing on the other side by the water utility parking. No trails to river unless you start at Mast park trail to golf course

My son and grandson ate a burger at the Cafe at the park and both were throwing up the next day suspect food poisoning. They were the only ones who ate the burgers. I had the Chilli and it was cold brought it back three times and still just Luke warm. The fries were great and the Mac and cheese was very salty. The park itself was nice and we took a paddle boat ride with the grandchildren and we had fun on the boat and feeding the waterfowl.

Buy fish and duck food here for a small price and experience the feeding while on a paddle boat. One of the great activities here in Santee lake recreation centre for the day.

Make sure you go early as it closes early by 4 pm or so.

Parties, family bbq's, fishing, paddle boating, feeding the ducks, riding bikes, camping, water park, swimming, playgrounds, scenic walks.... what do you want to do? Santee lakes has it! Beautiful scenery with friendly staff make the stay more enjoyable.
