I just bought my car here recently and it was totally everything I wanted, and the owner was super friendly and straight forward. I went in for a test drive and he didn’t try and upsell me and he kept it very straightforward and when we decided we wanted the car it was a very easy process. My experience with this dealer was quite awful. I've been looking for a sporty car for the majority of the year. I came across a 2015 Dodge Charger being sold by them. It was posted around June 2024 and was being discounted in price every other week. Dont get me wrong, the car looked great in the pictures, but there were some discrepancies.
- The car was listed under police interceptor. No information was available by carfax or other outlets on how it was used. The only thing that was known was that it was in a minor accident.
- The car's exterior was heavily modified to the point it resembled the SRT trim of the car. The SRT missing from the steering wheel and the one embedded in the front grill gave it away that it was not an original SRT.
I messaged the guy up to get some information about the car, but he didn't have any information on how it was used either. On top of that, he was being pushy on getting me in for a test drive, so I declined.
Getting back to what I said about the body of the car converted to look like an SRT. The SRT is the top trim level for the charger. This is a HUGE problem because the dealer is making his base level trim car look like a top trim car. How is this not being disingenuous?!

PS: I texted from a different number acting interested in the car. He replied normally during this exchange. I went ahead and questioned him about the SRT logo and how the engine specs don't align and he stopped messaging me back. What a clown!!

Update 12/8/24:
Obviously, the guy resorts to name calling since I caught him doing something shady. Yes, the car is listed under police but why would he make it look like an SRT?
