Iconic, but disappointing. Broken glass and graffiti everywhere. I thought there would be more in the local area of this sign. There's nothing. You'll have to drive in town for aliens.

It is neat that Roswell created this spot for pictures. Plenty of area here to stop and worth visit if passing through. Also a great spot to let the doggo out to stretch their legs for a minute after a long car ride down the 285.

There are three different "Welcome to Roswell" signs in the area, but this is the only one with the historical marker. The other two signs can be found on the eastern and western entrances into town.

Great sign, and iconic!! We stopped here before going into Roswell. There's a place to park and stop and take pictures. I definitely recommend it. Also, there's two other signs on the opposite end of the city.
