I visited Root Runners in Sparta, NJ, to get shoes for both my son and myself, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. They took the time to understand our needs and recommended shoes that fit perfectly and felt amazing.

The selection was excellent, and the personalized attention made the whole process enjoyable and stress-free. My son loves his new shoes, and so do I! It's rare to find a store that combines top-notch products with such outstanding customer service. I highly recommend Root Runners to anyone looking for quality footwear and a fantastic shopping experience. We'll definitely be back!

Second time stopping in Root Runners and always amazed with the workers, owners attention to detail about the running community and shoes. Wasn’t buying shoes this time around, but did get some Root Runners Apparel to flaunt the local business to everyone around. Everyone should shop at your local Root Runners store. Running Shoes, Running Community, and who doesn’t love Running apparel.

Best place in the area to buy a good pair of running shoes that's right for you. They get a complete measurement breakdown of your foot and recommend a bunch of different shoes to try on and test. Service was excellent and price was completely fair. They want to sell you the best shoe for you, not just the most expensive one! The man that fit me was so helpful that I wanted to tip him but sadly I had no cash on me. This review is me giving back for his great help. If you plan on tipping your fitter bring cash!

What a fantastic store! First, the people! The nicest and they truly know their stuff. I initially thought this place was not for anyone like me, in their 60's but actually, the opposite is true. Knee pain, as it turns out, can be managed or improved by the shoes you ut on your feet. I had my complimentary feet scan done and that told the Root Runners team what we should be looking at in a sneaker. (The scan also showed me that my foot size had changed over the last 40+ years.) The focus, knowledge and attention were the "Princess Treatment"!! No pressure either. Also ... don't have the color you like?, they are happy to order whatever you need. I learned a lot about how my feet impact my life and my feet are happy and feeling like they are on vacation!!

As a local business owner I try to find locally owned shops to buy from for all the obvious reasons. Matt and his team are the epitome of why you shop local. Not only was Matt able to help this newbie runner find the right shoes but has on more than one occasion helped out with plenty of advise as I continue my running journey.
