I was in Rockfield Place to visit Laura's House Resale Store as well as the Paris Baguette. Laura's House is always fun to visit: lots of new things coming in almost daily, and all purchases benefit a worthy charity.

I hadn't been to the Paris Baguette before and was happy to find it there. I tried the Portuguese cream tart (which I'd seen on The Great British Bake-Off) and wasn't disappointed; it was delicious! There were so many really yummy looking choices in the cabinets; it was hard to choose just one thing to eat.

Regulars know to grab a tray, some tissue paper, and a pair of tongs; it's serve-yourself. Other guests were filling their trays and having their goodies packed in big pink boxes, but that's a treat I'll save for next time.

A cup of iced peach tea was just the ticket on a hot day, and it was relaxing to sit in the bakery in their surprisingly comfortable chairs. I'm going to have to look into getting something like them for my dining room.

This particular Salvation Army store is my "go to" location because they have a great assortment of everything. Get there early before everything has been picked over.

This place is so weird, freaky. Honestly the whole place is pretty creepy, except for the gun store, Boot Barn, and the Salvation Army store. I've never seen anyone enter or leave any of the other stores or even in the neighboring areas, maybe it's all money laundering.
