I love the sneakers I purchased, as well as the recommendations for insoles and socks. However, I wouldn’t give the store a five-star rating because the wait time was ridiculous. I waited 1 hour and 10 minutes to speak with the sneakers specialist and another 30 minutes to pay since no one was at the register. The store is very short-staffed. While the employees are friendly and knowledgeable, they can't manage everything at once.

Love my shoes!!! Feels like I am walking on cloud. I was able to complete full workout without pain. I won’t be going back to anything else. The staff were funny and patient. The person who helped me took her time and made the experience even more awesome.

We had an amazing experience at Road Runner Rios! The associate who assisted us was absolutely wonderful — very pleasant, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to meet our needs. My boyfriend was shopping for sneakers as he is about to start his journey at a law enforcement academy. The associate not only helped us find the perfect pair but also congratulated him twice on his upcoming service, which meant a lot to us. To top it off, he even gave us a discount as a token of appreciation for his future service — such a thoughtful gesture!

The overall service was exceptional, and we truly felt valued as customers. We will definitely be returning again and recommending this place to others. Thank you for making our shopping experience so special!

I had a great experience at Road Runner Sports! I really liked their 3D digital measurements—not only did they measure foot length, but also width, arch height, static foot alignment, ball width, ball girth, and instep height. It was incredibly thorough and helped ensure the perfect fit.

I was especially happy that they did the same for my eight-year-old granddaughter. I wanted her to have the best support while training for a marathon, and this gave me confidence in our shoe choices.

Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for expert shoe fitting and great customer service!

My experience at Road Runner Sports was absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations. It was my first time here and I was looking for a pair of super comfortable shoes for my 12 hour shifts as a nurse. The employee who helped us was Nick, and wow!! Nick was so helpful and provided excellent customer service. I tried on SEVERAL pairs of shoes, different sizes, and did the custom soles. He was so patient and kind throughout my process of elimination. He was so quick to grab any pair of shoe from the back, gave me feedback on how the shoe fit, recommended me other shoes, and went above and beyond for us. I truly felt appreciated and heard as a customer during this experience. Thank you Nick!!!! I was able to find the perfect shoe for my nursing shifts, and will definitely be recommending this shoe store and coming back in the future!!!

Walked into RRS at 730pm on a Friday night not realizing the fit would take an hour. Marco got me out the door in 30 minutes in a new pair of ASICS. I had told him I had been fitted years ago and the result was Brooks and I wasn’t a fan of them, and he was so good about finding alternatives when the new fit came back with Brooks again. Couldn’t be more pleased with the new kicks and with the customer service.

I came here to get fitted for new running sneakers and my first experience was okay. I didn’t feel I had someone that knew anything about running or what I was looking for. I got passed around a bit and felt it wasn’t anything I could have done myself - a lot faster. That’s all fine but when I came to return the insoles is when my experience got worse. I came once and waited on a line of 8 people to “check in”- 3 of us were just making returns. After 15 minutes they got to checking in and put the three people making returns at an empty register. Where we proceeded to watch people get helped that came in after to us to buy things etc. no one even acknowledged us for 10 minutes which is when I left. The next day I came 15 min before opening and was first in line. When they opened the doors they again placed me at an empty register and started helping people looking to buy things. I had to call someone over to help me who seemed annoyed that I was asking to be helped with the return. It’s a shame because my plan was to buy some headphones and gels as well but literally made the return and headed over to Fleet Feet in Ridgewood instead! Will be cancelling VIP. Sad the running store closest to me is such a bad experience. I also always try to call first to speak to a manager before I head to review but I called and left a message and nothing.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Shoutout to Sincere at Road Runner Sports!

I was at Road Runner Sports the other day, and I have to give a huge shoutout to Sincere—this guy was holding it down! Great attitude, top-tier customer service, and really trying to help everyone despite being stretched thin by his company.

It’s not his fault that he had to juggle three customers at once while basically managing the store. There were a lot of people coming in to get sneakers, but they didn’t seem to have enough staff to keep up. Meanwhile, some of his co-workers weren’t exactly team players—one was taking a break, another went for lunch, and it seemed like Sincere was the only one fully locked in on helping customers.

Even with all of that, he stayed professional, patient, and made sure everyone got taken care of the best he could. Road Runner has great sneakers and solid service, but they really need to support their hardworking employees better.
