I’m not going to lie, it took me a long time to go to rehab because I was nervous about detox. I heard so many stories about how painful detox because of the withdrawals, but my family brought me to Bright Star Addiction Treatment because they had a medically monitored detox facility. That meant there was nurses and doctors there at all times, making sure I was going to detox safely. Yes withdrawing was hard, but at the end of the day it was bearable. That, in my opinion, was the hardest part of my recovery here.
