Rio Stone Group did an excellent job on our countertops. My wife and I worked with Amber Ballew and she was awesome. We were restoring a 1933 craftsman home and looking to update the interior yet preserve the historic integrity. Between helping us pick the right stone and creating a timeless look, Amber took care of it all. They even had a few install issues and took care of us in a fair and timely manner. My wife and I would both recommend Rio Stone and Amber!

I am a recent customer of Rio Stone Group, and I wanted to share my experience. YMMV

I used a company in Birmingham as my contractor for the counter top replacement, who had me work with Rio Stone Group to pick out the slab and coordinate install etc. I read some reviews and saw a grab bag of answers, and was a bit hesitant at first, but I am glad I did not fight it as Rio was a great company to work with.

All inquiries were answered withing 24 hours. They did not make a promise until they could confirm with the crew that it could be fulfilled. Everyone in the office was polite and friendly to work with, particularly Robin, who coordinated everything. Even when I had issues reaching my contractor, Robin was able to keep the project on track and moving forward.

The delivered product was what I requested and looks great. I had a billing issue with the contractor that Robin helped me sort out quickly.

I got 3 other quotes, 2 from reputable sources that were 5-10% more, and one from a questionable handy man that was 5% less than Rio. After my experience with this company I would recommend them to others, and advise you to skip to Contractor, and to work with Rio!

I am in the process of building a house and hit several speed bumps. But Rio Stone was NOT one of them. I had an excellent at experience picking out my bathroom kitchen and counter tops there. Amber made the process a breeze. She was so helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I cannot recommend her or Rio Stone enough. They installed our countertops about two weeks ago, and they are BEAUTIFUL. I attached a few images, but this does not do them justice. I will definitely be updating these once our house is complete, and I can show off these countertops in full. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for countertops!
