The Rio Liquor and Market is a small liquor store priced up a few notches to cater to the never ending sea of tourists. Family owned and operated since the 1980s. Offering your standard selection of tall cans, forties, and select liquor. They open at 8am and stay open late until 10.
Avoid the costly premium and plan ahead next time.

Most of these reviews are pretty old, and they're under new ownership now. The lady that they were talking about isn't there anymore, and the new owner is really friendly. They also revamped the place and made it look much nicer. Great place to grab some candy.

My wallet was gone, couldn't find it anywhere so I went up to the store (that's where I thought I last had my wallet) and they took the time to show me the security video and that really helped me find it back. Friendly staff! Also, good selection of products for a fair price 🙂

Came here on vacation and stopped by this market. It was decent. The only complaint I have is the obsessive nature of the clerk who kept warning me to not bring my beer onto the beach.

I got it the first time. I told you I wasn't going to the beach with the beer; I was going back to the townhouse!

I have to agree with the other guy's review about the owner/clerk. She is sadly unwelcoming- keeps talking to you about the rules of the area after you say "okay"- barked at me that she only takes cash and that I need to use the ATM machine AFTER she rung me up...really strange for a store owner for tourists in the area
