Stayed there for 6 days in October. Everything was clean and nice .
The breakfast bar was the best I've ever seen in a hotel. Wide variety of foods and drinks.
Will be coming back in June.

We rode the train up from Denver and stayed overnight at Residence Inn. It was the perfect getaway. Jade was friendly and very helpful at check-in. She was there early the next morning at checkout. Breakfast was great, but they were struggling to keep up with the high demand. We will stay here again!

Note
- this hotel has no double rooms (2 queen beds)
- average hotel but does not provide good value and needs to be refreshed
- front desk and management needs better training
- this is a franchised location, which I find typically provides lower quality than corporate properties. I've stayed at many Marriott properties around the world and have been at Platinum level for 10 years.
I tried to book via bonvoy app, didn't see a double room, but did see a 2 bed room suite. I called and asked if they have a double, front desk seemed inexperienced but said they did and there is availability. After discussion it was clear that she was referring to the two bedroom suite. She asked if she should make the reservation. I said ok, as long as it is the same price as the app.
When I check out I see the rate is not. Front desk says they can't change and that I need to speak to a manager but no manager is on property. I ask them to have manager call.
Assistant Manager calls next day - I tell her the price I got from the app and that the price includes all taxes and fees. She responds that the app and website does not include taxes and fees. I informer it does if you select the box that says to include taxes and fees - the staff really should be trained better. I check with the app again and same room is available today for even less. I ask for a credit to the price that I was quoted when I made a reservation. She said no.

Not very happy when hotels get to just charge your card for fees and do not tell you about it. I booked through Priceline and it was not disclosed with them either. So I got hit with a $12 parking fee. I would have stayed somewhere else. Glenwood has lots of hotel choices. If this is how they choose to do business and extract more dollars from people, shame on them. I can understand if the fee gets me security or a covered parking garage, but to charge money for basic parking lot is ridiculous.

Not awesome, unfortunately. I travel a lot and I think Marriott as a whole has slid over the last several years.
This hotel just feels old even though it’s not that old. The mattresses were rough, paint was peeling, hinges were rusty, and the bedding was all well used.
I’m sure this place was nice a few years ago, but it’s just not anymore.
Look at an Air BnB or one of the other hotels in town if you want a nicer experience.

This is an amazing property close to the Colorado river, hot springs, hiking trails, dining & more. Views from the hotel are fantastic, the staff is very helpful, and the complimentary breakfast is great. The kitchenettes are a great way to save money on meals while visiting Glenwood Springs. I highly recommend this property.

Pretty nice room but the parking is a bit of a nightmare. It’s 12 bucks a day and they don’t have enough spots. Make sure you ask for a refund if you can’t find a spot. The spots are also on the small side and several people double parked. There was no where for me to park so i had to park over in the Wells Fargo lot. I was a bit stressed out about my car being out there. The passenger side window has already been busted out from a previous Marriott stay. So I can’t say it was a relaxing stay.

Room 227 over the breakfast area has 2 bedroom windows and 1 living room window that are eye level with gross bird poop covered roofs and hvac units, the building facade blocks any orher light/view. Staff member begrudgingly changed our room, refusing to let us see it to make sure we weren’t getting into something worse. It was so gross, we ended up skipping breakfast there over our 4 night stay…between that and a $12 parking charge we felt ripped off. Shocked this would be considered a normal full price suite.
