Nice location in downtown Denver. We are Marriott platinum elite members so we have stayed at many Marriott hotel chains. Overall very disappointed. Stained carpets, dilapidated decor, little to no maintenance & did not maintain the Marriott hotel standards we are used to but still charged over $200 per night for a 2 bedroom suite. Beds were good but we waited at the front for check in for a long time before anyone showed up, still haven't seen our reward points added & we had a significant incidental hold on our card, waiting to see if that drops off or why we are being charged so much more than our room stay. Marriott should re-visit this hotel & see if it upholds their standards still.

I checked in last night after my apartment flooded due to a fire across the hall. Unfortunately, I encountered several issues during my stay. Upon entering my room, I found it in an unacceptable condition, with the pull-out couch still extended and the room not properly cleaned. I immediately called the front desk to report the issue, but no one answered. I then went to the front desk in person, but no staff was present. I waited for 20 minutes, but no one returned.

I had to leave to gather belongings from my apartment, as I would need to stay in the hotel for the next few days. When I returned, there was still no one at the front desk, and I was unable to address the state of my room. As a result, I had to wait until the morning to raise my concerns.

In addition to the room not being cleaned, the door to my room was broken and had to be forced shut. When I finally spoke to the front desk woman about the broken door, she responded, ‘Well, yeah, I’m glad you’re not an older person because they would have a lot of trouble opening your door.’ This response was incredibly unprofessional, as she acknowledged they were aware of the issue but had done nothing to fix it.

This morning, I continued trying to reach the front desk, but no one answered the phone. I walked over twice more, and both times, the staff was absent for at least 30 minutes. When they finally returned, there was a very strong smell of marijuana, which is highly inappropriate in a professional setting.

When I attempted to explain my concerns to the woman at the front desk, she was extremely unprofessional, repeatedly interrupted me, and used inappropriate language in front of other guests. When I asked for a room change due to the issues with my door, she dismissively told me, ‘You can leave. Bye, see you later.’

While this behavior is concerning, it may be indicative of just the staff that was on duty at the time and not a reflection of the entire team. However, the lack of professionalism from this particular front desk employee is unacceptable, and I would still advise caution to anyone considering staying here. Don’t be fooled by the cheap price—you truly get what you pay for.

The rooms are a bit dated. The tv was small and didn’t have a good picture. The carpet was old. The bed was pretty comfortable. The shower was a bit dingy. The rooms could use some updates but they were very spacious and have small kitchens which was nice. The front desk people are helpful and kind. The location is great!

Location and room were wonderful! However the service requested was not great. Confirmed reservation for 4 people and only had 2 bath towels upon check in. When I asked for more via the app, they were never received. We also requested housekeeping and that never occurred during our 3 night stay. I’d consider going back for another shot as the location is THAT good for concerts/sporting events. It would be my last chance though.

Ricky and Babbie at front desk were extremely kind and helpful. The team went above and beyond to ensure I had what I needed and that my stay was
pleasant. We planned a family vacation after a long time and this one was last minute. My family is thankful for this memorable experience. Even the lady who did the booking was quick and excellent at her job. Way to go Residence Inn team!

Rooms are old, service was not great. Front desk was not responsive.

Pros: location, very centrally located, rooms were big, plenty of parking, breakfast was good, the guy there was so great and friendly.

Cons: rooms are old, bathroom shower leaked and got all the floor wet daily, the door was missing a screw and the other screw was out almost all the way out, the shower curtain rod needed maintenance as it was not level, no turn down service, the one time they came, the service was piss poor. They replaced the towels, but didn’t even make the beds, left the 2 dishes in the sink, even though we requested service. Felt like a 2 star hotel, different than what you would expect from Marriott name.

Age discrimination is a protected class just like race, color, religion, disability or sexual preference. Residence Inn by Mariot in downtown Denver just refused to check in my 18 year old son for a room my wife paid for weeks ago based on age discrimination. (Not 21) Don't do business with these people. -5 star review. Leaving a pair of 18 year old without a safe place to stay 6 hours from their home.

This place looks nothing like the pictures. It's like an apartment complex with the Marriott name on it. We didn't not feel comfortable at all we stayed 1 night just to rest and were afraid for our lives. Homeless people wandering through and sleeping in the bushes outside. No elevators and 3-4 flights of stairs. I cancelled my 2 week reservation because I could barely sleep 1 night. I reached out to Marriott bonvoy for them to say they don't control what they do. I have to take it up with the hotel manager. Please never go to this hotel!!
