Store seems old fashioned. Kind of a different layout, but we were able to find what we needed. They have you leave all your groceries in the cart and they take them out as they are scanning. Someone bagged our groceries, which we like. The customer in front of us asked the cashier for a box for her 6 bottles of wine, the cashier just said it should be by the wine. I saw them so grabbed a couple for her. The cashier seemed like she wanted to be anywhere else but there, but we get it, not everyone loves their job.

Approximately 11/2/24: I told the checker AGAIN that I brought my own bags and handed him the bags. He still charged for 3 bags, and I had more than enough bags for my groceries. This is not the first or second time this has happened to me. If I get charged one more time for my own bags, I'm going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about this scam. Multiply this scam out for all of their customers who bring their own bags and this scam brings in a lot of pure profit. I'm going to make this scam clear on Yelp.
11/16/24 update: still no word back from Raley's customer service and today I was charged for my own grocery bag AGAIN! Review your receipt BEFORE you leave and make them refund the money they scammed out of you right then in front of the other customers. If this happens company wide, it adds up to a pretty large amount of money over time and it costs Raley's nothing besides bad customer relations with those few who catch the illegal charge. I filed a complaint with the BBB today. If this has happened to you, I encourage you to file a complaint about your experience with bbb.org.

I just love it they got some great prices on there products, which really surprised me. I always thought these groceries stores were way over priced.

The Good: Great sandwiches from the deli, good selection throughout store, Good deals with the Raley’s. Ap, and most employees are friendly and helpful.
The Bad: Prices are a little higher than other markets in the area, sometimes women at deli are not too friendly, (that’s why I gave the 4 stars) and the Raley,s app sometimes is hard to connect to inside the store.

We are new to this store. Maybe it's California, but we feel it cost us a little more than Save Mart. We even used the stores app but still seemed expensive. The cashier has to pull all of your items out of the cart, and it seems like a very slow process.

The stores location seemed nice, and I loved the larger shade trees in the parking lot.

My family and I took our first trip to this store, we are from Texas visiting family and were getting groceries for dinner. To have our first visit to this store reduced to the color of our skin by an IGNORANT and DISRESPECTFUL cashier was absolutely shameful. The next time I take a trip out here, I'll take our business elsewhere. Just awful

The girl with the black beanie and pigtails working in the bakery tonight, was extremely rude and disrespectful.
She refused to respond the first three times I called out to her, then responded in a very rude almost mimicking manner.
Which is crazy because she herself came and asked the man next to me if he needed help,
but completely ignored me even after I kept calling out to her multiple times.
Disappointing for raleys to hire such ignorant unprofessional discriminatory staff.

I pulled into Manteca for a quick sandwich while on my way back from Modesto and realized I've been to every delicatessen in town except for the grocery store delicatessens.
I spotted the Raley's and thought I'd give them a shot. I ordered a very simple sandwich on sliced white bread, and I've got to be honest with you...it was perfectly prepared with the freshest of ingredients, just as I ordered. ☆☆☆☆☆
