i live in the neighborhood and have occasionally stopped in for small items like water or energy drinks. they have a really poor selection, sell the same items from dollar tree for $4+, and are generally kinda dirty (which I have looked past before) but everytime i go in there i am racially profiled and followed around and treated very poorly. i always pay for my items and act very kindly, but today I walked in and realized they didn’t have what i was looking for so i left without getting anything. the cashier yelled at me and called me back into the store, to which i explained i left empty handed. she was so incredibly rude and dismissive when i tried to explain myself. it’s unfortunate being a local who lives so close to this store who likes to support small businesses to be treated like a criminal simply for wanting water and caffeine. i suggest you walk down the street to beach market instead they have a wayyyy bigger selection and are a lot nicer and cleaner.

If I could give zero stars I would! We live up the street from this market and my fiancée went in there to grab just a water and a energy drink. Just to find they had barely any of the drinks in stock! So my fiancée starts to walk out without anything in her hands because again they didn’t have what she wanted. The older woman in the front stopped her and tried to accuse of her of stealing. It was clearly racial profiling. We use to come here all the time but NEVER AGAIN!!! Don’t give your money to these people. There is a way better market just a few steps away called the beach market. They will treat you right. Not this place.

Best convenience store in Beach Flats. They offer a wide assortment of food and goods, even self-serve coffee. Staff was friendly. The place is dated but mostly clean. They’re open daily from 7am to 9pm.

The store has a poor selection of products and is generally unclean. Just look at the pictures in google.

Prices listed on shelves do not reflect price of items. Price listed on a drink was 3.25, but there's a tiny sticker hidden on the item that says 3.85, Cashier charged 4.50 CASH for the item.

Example: 3.85 * 1.095 + .05 = 4.27$
Item cost * santacruz tax + crv for item under 24oz.

I brought this up with the cashier, and she refused to charge the correct amount for the item.

No receipt given, so you decide if they actually are paying that tax or if they are just pocketing the extra money.

If you're going to rip your customers off, at least use that money to make your store not look so miserable 🤷‍♂️

I go here pretty much daily and I've had excellent service. Love the family operated vibes. It is cash only but there is an ATM located in the store. Nice selection of groceries and household items. Highly recommend!

Horrible selection. Poor customer service. Picked out some stuff and then was told “cash only” when I presented my credit card. Ironically, the credit card machine was sitting right in front of me. Had to leave with nothing. Find a different place to shop.

Costly, no photos inside. I guess they make their money from tourism. Lot of negative reviews, I guess the owner doesn't care... retirement investment? I assume the property is worth something

Super cute convenience store! Nothing flashy; reasonably priced drinks and snacks!
After a fun day at the beach I accidentally left an item behind and called by chance that anyone saw it... They were kind enough to call me back with the news that they found it! 😊🥳
