Awesome retro Mall, seems like its mid 70s, early 80s. It has a huge center area, its roof has long lines with windows to the sky. It'ss empty right now, covid probably took a toll on it. But it's a great space, in my opinion. There's an eeriness of the early 80s in there that gives you this feeling of a once was. A couple of stores are still open, and its AMC theater is in full function and outside in the parking you can put your car on the same spot the Doc's van and Delorean were parked in Back to the Future's Twin Pines mall. On a day you're just hanging out and have nothing to do, it's a pretty awesome blast from the past taking you back to the future!!!!!

Gets an instant five stars just for being the Twin Pines mall. I grew up in the UK watching "Back to the Future" every weekend and never imagined it would one day be my local shopping centre. Some of the original metal fencing is even still there!

Sadly, the mall is quite run-down, and needs a little love, but it still has a few great stores, plus the Twin Pines mall sign! Hopefully, the new film will draw renewed interest and save this historical site.

(For BTTF fans - the Raising Canes restaurant at the back of the mall has a ton of cool nods to back to the future. Well worth a stop if you're visiting the mall. See photos.)

Robles Pumpkin parch at Twin Pines Mall at Puente hills. They have the best pumpkins around! You got to come check out this Pumpkin Patch, on the North West corner of mall. Across from Raising Cains. Yours Kids will not want to leave!!!!

Puente Hills Mall has fully remodeled the inside of their mall. It is a very comfortable and clean place to visit. I think they have one of the best AMC movie theater.

Could this mall be saved / regenerated thanks to leaning into it's key Back to the Future history? Or is it plagued like many malls across the world to close? The mall was tidy, staff in the stores pleasant, restrooms clean, and plentiful free parking with many dining options open inside and around the mall carpark.

It's empty, I found a couple of good stores, only a handful. Specially the spot that sells hats and other sports stuff they were really cool, helpful, and would definitely go again if it wasn't closing down.

First time ever visiting that mall on Saturday 6/8/2024 as I was walking inside I was astonished at how retro it looked. It looked almost like a time capsule of the 80s/90s. So I wanted to just record a little bit and as I'm doing so, a mall security told me, no filming aloud. Is the mall trying to hide something? I wasn't hurting anyone and the mall was empty. But oh well I followed their rules.
